Back to main page and index of daily reports Tuesday, September 27, 2005 - Climbing Mt. SivriWe started our day climbing Mt. Sivri. Up on its stip slopes is the tiny village of Akpinar with many apple orchards and phtogenic views over the lake. We stopped at a tea house where we were served with freshly made Gozleme, very thin dough stuffed with mashed potato spiced with onion, parsley, cumin paprika and salt, and Ayran, the yogurt drink. |
