Forever Destiny
Notes and Prologue - Belle and Shawn have been dating for a year, Belle is trying to tell her parents by asking if she can go out with him. Belle is 17 and Shawn is 18

Chapter 1

"Dad!" Belle whines
"No, Izzy" John says
"But-" Belle says
"When I say no I mean no, you are not going out with Shawn Brady!" John states
"I HATE YOU!!" Belle shouts and runs up to her room
"John" Marlena tries to reason
"No Marlena" John says "The matter is finished"

Belles room

"Hello? Shawn? Hi!, Can I meet you there? Ok then, Love you too, Bye" Belle hangs up then dials another number
"Hey Meems! Can you do me a huge favour? Can I say I’m staying at yours tonight? Ok thanks. Bye" Belle hangs up the phone
Belle gets changed and puts dressy clothes in a bag plus a change of clothes

Downstairs

"Bye, I’m going to Meems" Belle says and leaves

A restaurant

Belle walks up behind Shawn and puts her hands over his eyes
"Guess who?" She asks
"Hey Belle" Shawn says and kisses her "Wow, you look great"
"You don’t look too bad yourself. Shall we go in?" Belle asks
Shawn takes her hand and they go in

Chapter 2

Restaurant

Amazed by Lonestar starts to play
"Shawn! Its our song" Belle says
"Do you want to dance?" Shawn asks
They get up and dance,
The song finishes and they go and sit down
"I love you" Shawn says
"I love you too, Shawn, make love to me tonight" Belle says
"Are you sure?" Shawn asks
"Yes we’ve been dating for a year, I think we are mature enough to make that kind of decision" Belle says
"Where?" Shawn asks
"A hotel, I have my Dads credit card" Belle says
"I’ll tell my mom and dad I’m staying at Phil’s" Shawn says
They get up and leave

few weeks later

"Mimi" Belle says into her phone "Can you come over, I need to talk to you"

10 minutes later

"Wow Belle, this is huge" Mimi says
Belle starts to cry
"Hey Belle, it’ll be ok, it’ll be ok sweetie" Mimi says

A few hours later

"Bye Meems" Belle says and shuts the door
"Belle!" Marlena shouts
Belle walks over to her mom
"Yeah Mom?" Belle asks
"Belle, what’s this?" Marlena asks holding up a pregnancy test

Chapter 3 - contd. from b4

"Well, is it yours?" Marlena asks
Belle doesn’t answer her
"Belle, you know you can tell me anything, now is it yours?" Marlena asks
Belle bursts into tears
Marlena goes and hugs her
"Oh, Mom, I’m so scared" Belle says
"It’s Shawn’s isn’t it?" Marlena asks
"Yes" Belle says quietly "But don’t tell Dad, not yet, he’ll kill Shawn and I love him"
"How long has it been going on?" Marlena asks
"Over a year, but we’ve only slept together once" Belle says
"Once is all it takes" Marlena says
The door opens, Belle takes the test and puts it in her pocket. John comes in the door
"Hi, we’re going to Bo & Hopes tomorrow, they asked us over since it’s Belle’s 18th" John tells them
"I’m going to my room" Belle says

Next day

Belle’s birthday, she has opened all her presents,
"I’m going to dotcom" Belle says
"Bye" Marlena says

On the way to dotcom

Shawn covers Belles eyes
"Happy birthday, perfect girl" Shawn says and kisses her neck "I got you a present"
"Aww, Shawn, you didn’t need to" Belle says
They go and sit down on a wall
"Ok, first I wanna say something" Shawn says "What you were saying the other month about us being mature adults made me realise I really love you and never want to lose you, we don’t have to do this right away but I want to marry you and spend the rest of our lives together"
Shawn pulls out and ring box and opens it up, it has a beautiful diamond engagement ring in it
"Shawn......" Belle says

Chapter 4

"Shawn, I’m pregnant, now I bet you don’t want to marry me" Belle says
"Are you kidding, now more than ever" Shawn says
"Really?" Belle asks
"Yes!" Shawn tells her
"Yes, then, I’ll marry you" Belle says
Shawn puts the ring on her finger and they kiss

Dotcom

Belle and Shawn are at a table kissing
Chloe and Philip come in (they are going out)
"Happy Birthday" Chloe says to Belle
"When did this happen?" Philip asks
"About a year ago" Shawn says
"No Way!" Philip exclaims
"No way what?" Brady asks walking in with Mimi
"They" motioning to Belle and Shawn " Have been going out for a year"
"Oh, that" Mimi says
"You knew?" Brady asks
"I’m thirsty, you coming to get a drink Shawn?" Belle asks putting her hand on the table
"What the hell is that?" Brady asks pointing to Belles hand
"What?" Belle asks innocently
"Don’t f*** with us Belle, sit your ass down" Chloe says
"You’re engaged?" Mimi asks
"What did her do? Knock you up?" Philip asks
Belle and Shawn look at each other
They all look shocked apart from Mimi

Chapter 5

"You didn’t did ya?" Philip asks " I’m mean I was just joking"
"Um, well" Belle says
"You are, aren’t you?" Chloe asks
"Yes, but you cannot tell a soul, only my mom knows" Belle says
"Yeah, guys, keep it to yourself" Shawn says
"Dad is gonna kill Shawn, he is literally going to kill him" Brady says
"Brady Shut UP!" Belle says

The Brady’s house

They all have non-alcoholic champagne
"Happy Birthday" Hope says
"So what did Shawn get you?" Bo asks
"Up the duff/ Pregnant (whichever one)" Brady mumbles
Belle draws him a look
"What was that Brady?" John asks
"Nothing" Brady says
"Well actually, we wanted to talk to you guys while you are all together" Shawn says
"Sounds serious" Hope says
"Well, uh" Shawn takes Belles hand "we got, um, engaged" Shawn tells them
"What?!" John exclaims
"Run, Shawn, Run!" Brady says jokingly
"When did this happen?" Bo asks
"Today" Belle says
"How long has it been going on?" Hope asks
"Over a year" Shawn says
"Marlena, you don’t seem to bothered" John says
"Come on, they are in love" Marlena says
"Love, what do they know about love? They’re only 18, next they’ll be telling us they are having a baby
Shawn, Belle, Brady & Marlena look at one another
"Oh God, Belle, you aren’t are you?" Hope asks
"Yes" Belle says
"Shawn!" John says
"Ok Shawn, I’m being serious when I say this - RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!!!" Brady advises
"Is that why you’re marrying her son?" Bo asks
"No Dad, I asked Belle before she told me she was pregnant" Shawn says
"So we don’t have your blessing?" Belle asks
"No" John says
"John, don’t be unreasonable" Marlena says
"Well, if thats he way you feel. . . . . come on Belle" Shawn says, Belle grabs his hand and they leave

Chapter 6

Belle is asleep and her head is leaning on Shawn’s shoulder, he has his arm around her
Belle opens her eyes
"Where are we Shawn" Belle asks rubbing her eyes
"On our way to Nevada" Shawn says
"What?" Belle asks shocked
"Well, if you want, we can stay there for a couple of days and let our parents cool off" Shawn says
"Thats fine by me" Belle says
"I also had another idea, you know how you wanted to be married before you had kids, well, I was thinking that we could have a small ceremony in a chapel and not tell anyone. So what do you think?" Shawn asks
Belle thinks it over for a moment
"I think it’s a great idea" Belle says softly
Shawn pulls her in closer

Chapter 7

A couple of days later - Brady Pub

Bo, hope, John & Marlena are there
"Have you heard from them?" Hope asks
"No, but maybe" Marlena says looking pointedly at Bo & John "if some people had been more supportive they wouldn’t have run away"
"Who has run away?" Alice asks coming over
"Belle and Shawn" Bo says
"Belle and Shawn ran away? Why?" Alice asks
"Belle and Shawn ran away?" Caroline asks coming over with Shawn Sr., Doug & Julie
"Why?" Doug asks
"Thats for them to tell you when hey get back" Hope says
Belle & Shawn walk into the pub
"Speak of the devils" Shawn Sr. says as they all turn around
Marlena and Hope get up and run up to their children and hug them
"Where have you been? We’ve been really worried" Hope says
"Yes we have, there better not be any more surprises" John says
"Surprises?" Julie asks
"Let’s just say these two dropped *ahem* a couple of bombshells" Bo says
"Likes of?" Julie asks
"Well...." Shawn says
