ABOUT
ME
BUCKLE UP FOR JAKE
God hath not promised
        Skies always blue,
Flower-strewn pathways
        All our lives through;
God hath not promised
         Sun without rain,
Joy without sorrow,
          Peace without pain.

But God hath promised
          Strength for the day,
Rest for the labor,
          Light for the way,
Grace for the trials,
           Help from above,
Unfailing sympathy
            Undying love...........

Jake was a very talented person.  Jakes' dream was to one day customize cars and open his own shop.  He worked on other peoples cars already as well as his own.  Jake drove a 1990 Buick LeSabre Limited.  He had alot of pride in his car.  Jake was seventeen years of age, and a senior at Richfield Senior High School in Richfield, MN.  He had just met a girl the Sunday before October 25th.  Jake was in the passenger seat and the girl that he had met was driving.  The two were turning left at a light and hydroplaned.  When the tires caught the road surface the car threw them into a light pole.  Niether the girl nor Jake was buckled.  Jake had massive neck injuries that caused him to go into cardiac arrest almost immediately after impact.  He passed away on October 25th, 2000  9:52pm.   His family and friends stress to BUCKLE UP FOR JAKE.
