When you're my age, you don't measure years by when another December has passed, but rather by school, what grade you finished, and what grade you're entering. I guess that goes to show how much of our lives revolve around school and things connected to it. I was promoted from grade eight on June 14, 1999. Another year has ended.

I have changed so much this year, in ways I never expected. Some for the good, and some not so good. Eighth grade was a complicated time, but also a great one. Let me tell you that the day you learn to genuinely laugh at yourself is the day that things get better.

Forever Always,
