The Canaan Dog has fascinated me from my first acquaintance with this very unique breed, more than thirty years ago. I have since been dedicated to preserving these dogs, one of the very few truly natural dogs remaining in existence, to breeding them as pets and companions in our modern world while remaining true to the original pariah type that has survived in the wilderness up to the present day, and to acquainting the rest of the world with this wonderful and special breed.

In these pages, I hope that you will learn about the Canaan Dog, its history, and its place in the modern dog world.
