~Cyberotica-Chrysalis~: the forms "punishment" may take . . yes they certainly varied . . however one is disapline the other is a "role" in which disapline/punishment is used the later generally (but not always) used in a context that mingles both pain and pleasure in that type of a scene .....

~Cyberotica-Chrysalis~: stepping outside the box for a moment . . . think of how sometimes communication or lack of it comes into punishment. Take a submissive that thrives on pain . . and does not seem to get enough of it and doesn't know how to ask for it . . so they behave in a manner that will get them what they want. IF their Dom/me is on the ball, they will recognize what is happening and stem that in the bud. If not, they will be dealing with a manipulative submissive that really in essence is topping from the bottom and losing respect for their Master/Mistress
