since I only have a moment...I will share a short story about openness...
I have always been open about every part of My life...
When going through divorce proceedings...I was allowing custody of My only child under 18 to be held by My soon to be ex-wife...when I was done explaining to the court-appointed stooge...she then brought out copies of My stories and handed them to the person...He began reading the first page of one...and looked up at Me like I was a bug that needed eradicating...I was already giving her custody...she just cemented the issue...he said...after just a few minutes of reading..."I have made my decision...and Y/you will be informed of it by mail in the next few days"...it was all over...

i agree with You CC...100%...it is easy to think of people online as a game...exploring this lifestyle or otherwise...it can have serious ramifications...and when it goes to a r/l relationship...you have to be prepared for what can happen next...
especially when minor children are involved...

gentleminx: adding my two cents... the thought that I have to justify my choices to anyone really bothers me (understatement), as does the thought that I have to explain in detail how I met someone, what we have in common etc.
It also really bothers me to think that I could not introduce my Master as just that... my Master... or CC, for example, as not only a very good friend, but also my Mentor in the BDSM lifestyle.
And, yet, with all of that said, I don't feel like I have the freedom to talk to the majority of my friends and family about how BDSM makes me happy and fulfills me... or even that that is where I met a friend etc.
