Dungeon Chat is held Wednesday Evenings 9-11 EST in the Dungeon @ Fantassia's Palace.
All are welcome with the understanding that we all have the right to disagree without being disagreeable.
(following text has been edited ~ foregoing greetings, etc.)
Happy New Year if I haven't wished it to Y/y'all before . . .
there are some "exciting" things coming up w/ Dungeon Chat in this new year . . .
Wed Jan 5 7:00:59 2000
~Cyberotica-Chrysalis~: I have been searching through some of my contacts and decided since my job is taking more and more time that I would seek out various speakers . . . (and besides by now Y/you are probably all sick of listening to me anyway)
Wed Jan 5 7:02:13 2000
~tilted*halo~: ~CC~ I have missed so many of the discussion chats ~ sorry too.
Wed Jan 5 7:03:44 2000
~Cyberotica-Chrysalis~: Some of the upcoming Topics, certainly NOT complete are,How to start a r/t group in your area . .
D/s w/o the S/M . . . I KNOW that hardly exists in v/t
There is also a possibility of a Dom/me . . . and sub forum . . . that deals w/submission . . Dominance and the issues . . that many of U/us face
Wed Jan 5 7:04:44 2000
~Cyberotica-Chrysalis~: okay . . . done w/that . . IF Y/you are NOT on My icq and wish to be notified of different events and topics . . please contact me here at Fan mail . .
Wed Jan 5 7:05:50 2000
~tilted*halo~: love the forum idea CC~
Wed Jan 5 7:06:52 2000
~Cyberotica-Chrysalis~: enough said about that too . . . now . . tonight’s topic ~ drum roll please ~
Freeze Branding being brought to U/us by Doc . . AKA H/C as Fan's place has Doc noted as "in use" . . . I gladly yield the floor but ask that any questions be reserved until He is done with His presentation . . AND that non-topic chat be done in PM or elsewhere . . . W/we are saving all discussions for a link page that hopefully will soon be done
Wed Jan 5 7:07:18 2000 ~tilted*halo~: CC~ what do You think of the SM~ w/ out the DS?~
Wed Jan 5 7:07:32 2000
~Cyberotica-Chrysalis~: so H/C .. .c'mon take the microphone its all Yours!!! ~applause, applause ~ as I find My way to a seat
This is an overview and NOT to be taken lightly as an all inclusive instructional evening ~ So PLEASE . . .as the old television shows have said, "This is done by professionals and should not be tried at home without instruction."
Wed Jan 5 7:09:19 2000
H/C: hello you can call me doc h/c or as the old saw goes just not late for dinner. First of all I don’t much fool with caps and such. don’t use em in real life. Hello out there and the odd question sneaking in is fine looking at CC
Wed Jan 5 7:10:40 2000
~Cyberotica-Chrysalis~: As You wish it Doc *wink* gonna call you later about this!
Wed Jan 5 7:10:43 2000
H/C: I apologize for being relatively new to cyber and its intricacies. However I have many years experience branding both delightful livestock and well just cow critters.
Wed Jan 5 7:12:30 2000
H/C: the first thing is I would like to state for the record. don’t try this at home unless you have seen it done or have assisted second. this isn’t for a three-month cyber relationship that is now just rt. The commitment has to be there and I won’t do one unless it is there for a long time.
Wed Jan 5 7:14:07 2000
H/C: first a brief rundown on branding. started long ago to mark
property for all time.
The first usage and still done to day is hot branding. Actually hot and cold branding do the same thing. burst the blood vessels and cells in the desired area.
Wed Jan 5 7:14:23 2000
~tilted*halo~: loving a more advanced topic.... *~ grin*~
Wed Jan 5 7:15:39 2000
~tilted*halo~: never heard of a cold branding?~
Wed Jan 5 7:15:41 2000
H/C: hot branding is fine on cows with tough hide. but harder to control the temperature so the result is often varied as most campfires cannot heat the steel to the required temp. Also those that have plug-ins are foolish as these to vary wildly in temp.
Wed Jan 5 7:17:07 2000
H/C: so the preferred method used on good horses and better slaves are cold branding . It does the same thing but easier to control thus there is left a prettier mark to be enjoyed through the years.
Wed Jan 5 7:18:25 2000
H/C: things you will need are a very well committed slave of course an iron and I will get into that dry ice, liquid nitrogen in a damn good container.
Wed Jan 5 7:19:35 2000
~tilted*halo~: always a good mark? what about some of that horrible scarring? don't some heal better or not as pretty as others... which I’m sure it's the cause of the brand that would be the most beautiful but, I would be so scared myself of a horrible heal....*~
Wed Jan 5 7:20:36 2000
Harpoon: Dare I ask, where does one get liquid nitrogen???
Wed Jan 5 7:21:00 2000
H/C: I also like a sturdy table that the submissive can be placed on. There are leather restraints for the ankles, upper thighs, waist. I prefer her wrists to be held by an assistant for when she is touched it will be like an electric jolt that can convulse her very hard. so restraints should have a little give so that that reaction won’t cause damage to that delicate one we need.
Wed Jan 5 7:21:29 2000
~tilted*halo~: giggles*~ Harpoon I thought the same thing... not a common staple at the local drug store I don't believe*~ huh?~
Wed Jan 5 7:23:12 2000
H/C: let's address the coolant....frankly good luck. I have to drive over a hundred miles to get mine. I get it from a packing plant. Some ice companies have it as well, halo, I'll address your in a bit if I may.
Wed Jan 5 7:24:32 2000
LES IS MORE(m): you can also look under Chemical supply houses. They would have all you would need.
Wed Jan 5 7:25:36 2000
H/C: the thing to get is a proper brand of a design you want. this is best made by a ferrier out of stainless steel rods. He can shape them as you need. But no matter how smooth, you will want to get a dremel and use a buffing wheel with jewelers' rouge until it is like the surface of a space craft. this will do away with most of the possible errors.
Wed Jan 5 7:26:31 2000
LES IS MORE(m): Hospitals and Labs also use LN so look under hospital/Lab supplies
Wed Jan 5 7:27:16 2000
H/C: also a good handle that will insulate the user is necessary for a container. I got mine from a vet. one that is used to ship horse semen works very well but if it is used clean it small attempt at humor.
Wed Jan 5 7:29:21 2000
H/C: now with the subject in place and secured we mark with a pen where the brand is to go. I personally prefer below the lines a bikini would make. But this is between the two involved.
The iron itself should not have a design over two inches by one and a half. So just rough the area.
Wed Jan 5 7:29:43 2000
~tilted*halo~: thinking it would be very difficult for the average Joe*~ to obtain this stuff?
Wed Jan 5 7:30:33 2000
H/C: after that cleaning the area all around the site is absolutely necessary. With freeze-branding, alcohol will do just fine; hot branding no.
Wed Jan 5 7:31:57 2000
H/C: once your area of art is secured, put on clean gloves and get the iron. be certain where you want to apply it. if you are shaking or not sure go back to step one which is don’t do it.
Wed Jan 5 7:32:28 2000
LES IS MORE(m): Most states it would not be a controlled substance so if you are willing to lie a little you could say you are doing some experiments.
But best check first what your state regs would be.
Wed Jan 5 7:33:12 2000
H/C: I have little problem doing about twenty horses and a few submissives a month . but as I said before, for god's sake, this thing that you do is permanent even if botched
Wed Jan 5 7:34:49 2000
H/C: then the iron is applied to the part I prefer ass My self. just for a moment. you will see steam and remove quickly and cleanly. Remember the iron works going on and off.
Wed Jan 5 7:38:01 2000
H/C: ta da it's done. the cells have burst and the mark is made. however, you don’t have the collateral burn damage that a hot iron can make.
Waiting a few minutes, apply alcohol again and then I prefer aloe squeezed from a leaf or two.
Antiseptic ointment and a bandage like with a tattoo. Now for god’s sake, have a safe word. So this can be stopped at any time. My vt had a safe gesture that was an upraised middle digit. I responded.
Wed Jan 5 7:38:36 2000
H/C: now halo you had a question about scarring
Wed Jan 5 7:41:22 2000
~Cyberotica-Chrysalis~: H/C ~ what about getting a brand done anyway . . where . . . size . . detail?
Wed Jan 5 7:42:51 2000
~ecstasy~: if You are destroying the cells in order to put the branding on..what are the risks involved as far as putting it to far onto the skin and what are the chances of destroying more cells than those which You intended?
Wed Jan 5 7:43:03 2000
~tilted*halo~: yea sorry HC~ don't do this forum... that much so I was lost...
Seems that the dry ice is a best way.... is that only one strike....? Which to me works... and yea I have seen some ugly, ugly branding as well, as some that healed nicely...*~ and is this something that You think should be done by one w/ as much as experience as You.... ~? as You would have all the goods..... ~ kind of silly to grab up all these things to do "A" branding.... yanno?~
Wed Jan 5 7:43:37 2000
SteelBabe: How long is the healing process for a cold brand?
Wed Jan 5 7:43:39 2000
H/C: The "where" varies on a human. I prefer the thickness of the skin on the ass. It should not be over two inches by one and one half. Detail should of course be kept as simple as possible as we aren’t dealing with a computer generated program.
Wed Jan 5 7:44:13 2000
LES IS MORE(m): Doc you should include a word of warning like a burn brand
prevent rubbing or excess movement of the skin in the affected area properly dress the brand as a burn and avoid over-tight or chaffing clothing until the brand is healed.
Wed Jan 5 7:46:49 2000
~Cyberotica-Chrysalis~: I think He did LES IS MORE ~ but as w/ a tattoo . . .
Wed Jan 5 7:50:47 2000
H/C: a large bandage is necessary of course and the antibiotic ointment and redressing should be a matter of course.
Wed Jan 5 7:52:28 2000
H/C: halo, if you can find a perverted freeze-brander, you're in business, then all you need is the iron.
Wed Jan 5 7:52:34 2000
~Cyberotica-Chrysalis~:H/C. . .is there something one can "practice" on . . . to get the feel??? I know when some are learning to use needles, practicing on oranges works well ~ it seems to have the same kind of "give". (YES, I KNOW that isn’t the same as people skiing . .)
Wed Jan 5 7:53:09 2000
Starrion: A source for the LN would be any welding gas supplier...like National Welders for example...the tricky thing is how to by a small enough quantity and what to keep it in...I suggest keeping it in a good size thermos...and one possible means to get a small amount would be to tell them you are a teacher and you would like some to do a demonstration for a class...
Wed Jan 5 7:53:59 2000
H/C: please read what harpoon suggests. I came tonight only to explain a little of what goes on. I can’t stress enough that this is very serious. to do it and not do it right is bestial.
Wed Jan 5 7:55:51 2000
~tilted*halo~: laffin CC~ hey what ever works... might look funny but, knowing a practicing person was about to do anything the safer it is...laffin HC*~ are they in the yellow pages....???~ actually I have never heard of the cold brand..... which seems to make more sense. Is the damage better to the skin then heat?~ as well as the outcome?
Wed Jan 5 7:56:01 2000
Harpoon: Fakir Musafar Body play
An "urban primitive" who is considered one of, if not THE, leading authority on body modification, including branding.
Wed Jan 5 7:56:22 2000
H/C [~Cyberotica-Chrysalis~]: Light tanned buckskin could work. but make sure something under it feels like flesh to get the feel. I only use it to see how the brand looks.
Wed Jan 5 7:56:29 2000
LES IS MORE(m): CC, I would recommend a leaf on a living plant.
You can watch it for a week to see how it heals.
When you get it so the freeze brand is excellent every time you may have it but until you have actually done it on a human you do not know.
ASCPA frowns on your shaving a pet and trying it.
Wed Jan 5 7:57:08 2000
SteelBabe: Maybe a steak?
Wed Jan 5 7:57:43 2000
H/C: halo, talk to a vet or to a horse registry like the Arabian horse they generally know if they do large animal
Wed Jan 5 7:58:12 2000
LES IS MORE(m): Babe, steaks do not heal and scar
Wed Jan 5 7:58:13 2000
~Cyberotica-Chrysalis~: We have the opportunity to behave as educated adults . . capable of freethinking . .
I was going to hold this in a private room . . . by invitation . . but decided that this room IS to mirror a r/t dungeon and this IS the type of discussion that would be brought to the members.
I DO urge caution and thank You Harpoon . . . and as well as Your cautions, H/C
Wed Jan 5 7:58:51 2000
H/C: I reiterate, this is not a backyard project, get a pro.
Wed Jan 5 7:59:23 2000
Starrion: Also if you put the dry ice in alcohol you get a colder and more even temperature to the iron, this results in a more consistent brand a less likelihood of messing it up.
Wed Jan 5 7:59:42 2000
SteelBabe: True MORE...
