Denial is Not a River in Africa
What if you are injured and hospitalized . .
someone has to go to your home for things . . .
would there be a cause for concern on what they might find?

Dungeon Chat is held Wednesday Evenings 9-11 EST in the Dungeon @ Fantassia's Palace.
All are welcome with the understanding that we all have the right to disagree without being disagreeable.

[ Wishing inner peace to all in a world of turmoil ]

~Cyberotica-Chrysalis~:
Dungeon Chat TOPIC this week

"Denial is Not a River in Africa"

One of our discussions at DC and elsewhere came up with some questions that might well be presented as a reality check of the here and now . . . as opposed to the hereafter of which it has not been proven that we can control. Would very much like to look at possiblities to share with others.

well . . mortality is a given . . and "denial is not a river in africa" does not undo that fact. So for the moment suppose you are injured and hospitalized . . someone has to go to your home for things . . . would there be a cause for concern on what they might find?

Or if you were to die . . .what surprises (if any) would your children and family be in for. What, if anything, would you change or prepare differently?

(these questions will be posted on the forum for those of you that cannot make the discussion and would like to participate)
I want to share .. take me there

Comment on reading of others not likeing C C holding these discussions

Those that protest are usually the ones that do not want new bes to know real facts from real people who are really in the lifestyle or associated with a real club or org.

The see each knowelgeable sub as one MORE sub the can not mislead and get their paws on

so Pay no attention to them
and if the do not like it tough tomatoes

~Cyberotica-Chrysalis~: bad LES . . . bad!! *S*

the TOPIC again is:
Denial is NOT a River in Africa

the actual subject is one that is rather dry but of importance to those that deal with the lifestyle r.t and/or take their v/t seriously

Wed Sep 13 7:26:45 2000
[ Learning from the past ~ Living in the present ~ Looking to the future ]

~Cyberotica-Chrysalis~: Many of us put of things in our everyday lives because we either don't wish to deal with them or simply are too busy.

LES IS MORE(m):

well My wife knows of My interest
My son knows of My interest
but even then there would be problems with an accident or My death

Wed Sep 13 7:28:45 2000
[ Learning from the past ~ Living in the present ~ Looking to the future ]

~Cyberotica-Chrysalis~: And yet when we look around . . . there are things all over to remind us of our mortality. Most of us don't want to deal with those issues. However we can be in an accident . . . . or worse.

And the truth of the matter is no matter who you are or who you know . . . you don't get out of this world alive!

Wed Sep 13 7:30:26 2000
[ Learning from the past ~ Living in the present ~ Looking to the future ]

~Cyberotica-Chrysalis~: Everyone . . vanilla, chocolate, neopolitian . . .doesn't matter. Yet there are some issues that are unique to our lifestyle and this is bringing them to our attention so that those of us that wish to may make arrangements in a timely manner.

Wed Sep 13 7:33:32 2000
LES IS MORE(m):

there are many things that can go wrong with a scene also
face facts
during a scene the heart rate is up
the blood pressure is high
and the MORE intense the scene the higher they are

people in these situations who are young and in the best of health die without warning
rare but it happens

[ Learning from the past ~ Living in the present ~ Looking to the future ]

~Cyberotica-Chrysalis~: and gentle minx (others in the shadows if you wish to comment please do) . . . and I know you have a few things that might perhaps raise the eyebrows of some of your siblings or parents

~Cyberotica-Chrysalis~: it is not only that LES IS MORE . . . *lil chuckle* for instance . . . when I head to the dungeon and plan on wearing something other than mundane street clothes . . . I will usually change up at the dungeon. (or in the parking lot having someone help lace me in!)

LES IS MORE(m):

C C

at the BDS I see everyday folks
some old
some young
some fat
some thin

you could pass them on the street and not have a clue

it is the same with Munches

the main difference is
at a BDS function many are dressed in scene clothes whereas at a munch they are not

there are demos/lectures at a function then some chatting
just chat at a munch

Wed Sep 13 7:37:54 2000
[ Learning from the past ~ Living in the present ~ Looking to the future ]
~Cyberotica-Chrysalis~: greetings all . . tonights discussion is on the reality of the lifestyle and things to think about . . .

we invite you to join in . . . and please we also ask that non-topic discussion be kept to in private *S*

Wed Sep 13 7:39:40 2000
[ Learning from the past ~ Living in the present ~ Looking to the future ]

~Cyberotica-Chrysalis~: nods to LES IS MORE yes . . . . one of the reasons I usually dress at the dungeon is that some of the clothing is . . . well "suggestive" and I have on several occasions been pulled over by the police. I really don't want to give them any reason to search my car

Wed Sep 13 7:39:49 2000
[ ~*~i am fortune full~*~ ]

~*~the light{MDS}~*~: for me...i am very much in touch with tonight's topic...as You know CC..i have a young Son..and have to be careful with how 'open' Albert and i are around Him...as my divorce is over...custody can pop up at anytime...and there is no way i would ever do anything to lose my son....
