Jordan Honda today began their final test session of 2001, with Jean Alesi driving, in Mugello, Italy.
After a foggy start, conditions became warm and sunny with a dry breeze and Alesi completed a total of 91 laps, recording the second quickest lap time of 1:25.87.
The team spent the first day of a three day test session working on aerodynamic package assessment, start practice and general chassis set-up.
Alesi will continue testing on Thursday with International F3000 Champion Justin Wilson who is scheduled to drive for two days, and on Friday Narain Karthikeyan will take over Alesi's testing duties to conclude the test with Wilson.
