The Jordan team spent a lonely day in the freezing cold at Silverstone on Thursday putting the second EJ11 chassis through its paces.
Test driver, Ricardo Zonta, ran 15 laps in the morning before the dismal weather conditions forced them to pack up and return the 500 meters to the warmth of their factory just outside the circuit's main gates.
The team concentrated on the new chassis shakedown, development of the oil system, and practiced pit stops using the new regulation refueling rigs that are to be used from the Australian Grand Prix onwards.
Jordan is set to continue their winter testing programme in Valencia on February 12th with both their 2001 chassis and hopefully much warmer weather !
