Haberfeld was invited to give the shakedown by Jordan as Frentzen, Trulli and Zonta will all be busy with their preparations for the Australian Grand Prix.

In the past Haberfeld has tested Formula One cars for Jaguar (as Stewart Grand Prix) and McLaren, but has yet to secure a race or test seat.

According to reports from Jordan, Haberfeld wanted to see how much Formula One cars had changed since he last drove one - the day went without incident and the car will now follow its three predecessors to the Albert Park circuit.
