Cold weather and extremely wet track conditions in Valencia yesterday caused the Jordan Honda team to alter its proposed testing schedule.
With limited running, Trulli achieved the 4th quickest time of 1:31.97, with Heinz-Harald's fast lap of 1:32.06 placing him in 6th.
Jarno Trulli's planned race simulation was postponed due to the conditions but also numerous red flags throughout the day. Both drivers therefore concentrated mainly on wet set-ups, with the EJ11 cars now reaching a combined total of over 4820 kilometres.
Honda were quick to express their happiness with the way that their engine has performed. "We have had a very good week on the track," said Kazutoshi Nishizawa, Technical Director of Honda Racing Development. "Both teams have done a lot of laps and we have experienced no dramas. However, we have also been busy away from the circuits, making sure that we are constantly moving forward with the development of the engine, so we feel that we are well prepared for Melbourne."
