Jarno has spent two seasons at Jordan that have on many occasions been exciting, but ultimately frustrating for the Italian.
Despite the potential for the car and driver not being fully realised, Jarno admitted, on his arrival at Spa, that he is sad to be leaving the Jordan team.
Speaking to journalists in the Jordan Honda motorhome, Trulli said, "I am not leaving Jordan because I am unhappy here. Jordan is my family. I spend more time with the people I work with at Jordan than I do with my 'real' family because that's the way Formula One is. The atmosphere is excellent in the team, even with the difficult times we have been going through recently.
"I am sure I will make good friends in Benetton," he continued. "But it will take time as it takes at least a year to really start to feel at home in a new environment.
"But, I will still see my friends from Jordan around in the paddock."
