The weather again caused problems for all the teams at Silverstone on Wednesday.
Both Ricardo Zonta and Jarno Trulli were present at the testing session, Ricardo using EJ11 chassis 05 and Jarno using EJ11 chassis 03. But another wet day at Silverstone prevented all teams present from making any major developments in their test programmes.
Ricardo Zonta's Jordan Honda EJ11 aquaplaned off the flooded circuit on his installation lap in the morning with no damage sustained. The Brazilian ran a total of 31 laps, all in wet conditions, as an unscheduled engine change prevented him from running later on a completely dry track.
Due to the weather, no clear track time could be achieved prior to lunch so the tyre test programme could not be progressed. The team therefore continued traction control software development for Barcelona.
Jarno Trulli's race car arrived back later than anticipated from Brazil which delayed him from running until four o'clock, when he carried out a shake down and ran 10 laps in his car ready for a full day testing tomorrow.
Both Jarno and Ricardo will continue with the final day of this week's test programme on Thursday, hopefully in improved conditions.
