Intermittent weather combined with a scheduled engine change reduced the track time available, although numerous red flags further frustrated the day's running, none of them due to Jordan or Honda, thankfully.
Ralf Schumacher was first to cause a red flag at 10.30 local time because of an engine problem, Pedro de la Rosa was next when he stalled on track testing 'launch control'.
At 12.30 Giancarlo Fisichella returned to the pits with oil dripping from the rear of his car after an engine problem and had to climb into last year's car to set his best time. At 12.58 Eddie Irvine was towed back to the pits.
At 14.35 Coulthard was towed back to the pits with a problem, followed by Jean Alesi at 15.10. Pedro de la Rosa stopped again on track and was towed back to the pits at 16.25. Fisichella stopped on track at 16.35 and Irvine had to be towed back to the pits at 16.56 again.

The team finished with practice race starts in preparation for Barcelona, and weather prevailing, will carry out a half day of tyre testing tomorrow, giving a first run out to a new wider front tyre.

The team at Lurcy Levis in France, with Ricardo Zonta at the wheel, completed a productive test, although strong winds this afternoon hindered progression. The team now heads back to its Silverstone based headquarters to fully analyse the data from the aerodynamics test.

Following the Spanish Grand Prix, the team will return to Silverstone on 1st May to resume testing. Ricardo Zonta will drive for all three days, joined by Jarno Trulli on the second and third.
