Heinz-Harald Frentzen completed a trouble free second day of testing today, running a development engine to be used for the Austrian Grand Prix. Bridgestone tyre testing was also carried out this afternoon. Frentzen completed 56 laps and the third quickest lap time - a 1 minute 23.310 seconds. The team reported no problems during the session.
Snow falling on the circuit at Silverstone and rain over Lurcy Levis interrupted some of the team's scheduled test programme, although it did not hinder the trial of some development aerodynamic parts at both circuits, which showed promising results.
Due to the adverse weather, the test team has decided to extend its test at the Northamptonshire circuit until midday on Friday.
Following the entertainment enjoyed by 250 sponsors and Club Jordan members yesterday, a further 200 guests enjoyed their own day of hospitality at Silverstone, with more expected today, Thursday.
