Giancarlo Fisichella today took over testing duties from his DHL Jordan Honda team-mate Takuma Sato to complete a second day of testing in Barcelona in the EJ12 05 chassis.

Once again the car ran reliably all day with Fisichella finishing 60 untroubled laps and posting the 8th fastest lap time of 1:20.38 on the way.

Most of the Italian's time was taken up with work on brake comparisons, a tyre test programme for Bridgestone and general suspension set up work for Interlagos. There was also a scheduled engine change during the lunch break.

Fisichella will complete the three-day test tomorrow.
