68 gremlin-free laps for Takuma.

On Wednesday Jordan began a three day test at Barcelona’s Circuit de Catalunya in warm and bright conditions with Takuma Sato driving the new EJ12 05 chassis.

The car ran reliably all day for a total of 68 laps, with the only incidents for the Japanese driver being two ‘offs’, causing very minor damage.
The team worked on tyre testing for Bridgestone, aerodynamic development, and new hydraulic and gearbox component reliability checks, as well as general set-up.

Sato’s fastest lap time of 1:21.09 placed him 8th in the day’s time chart.
