Jordan completed its second day or testing at Silverstone today (Wednesday) with Giancarlo Fisichella at the wheel of the new EJ12 chassis and rookie Takuma Sato driving last year's EJ11.

It didn't all go to plan, however, with Fisichella spinning off into the gravel in the wet and windy conditions at the Northamptonshire venue. The team packed up early, in fact, due to worsening conditions which caused the cars to aquaplane.

Fisichella's running concentrated on engine mapping for Honda and various cooling configurations. Sato, meanwhile, completed 36 laps working on launch control and wet weather set-ups, and wound up three-tenths of a second quicker than his team-mate.
