7th February - Fisichella sets the pace in an EJ11.

Another spin for Takuma, but no damage done.
Giancarlo Fisichella set 1:13.28 as the fastest lap time today with Jordan Honda, during the second day of the team’s three-day test, in windy conditions at the Valencia circuit.

Fisichella completed 27 laps in the EJ11 and 48 laps in the EJ12 (Chassis 02). He worked on oil levels and engine development for Honda, tyre testing for Bridgestone, and general set-up comparisons.
Unfortunately, his best times were set in the EJ11 rather than the 2002 challenger.

Meanwhile, Takuma Sato ran his new EJ12 (chassis 03) for a total of 49 laps, with a best time of 1:16.20. He concentrated his efforts on general set-up, aerodynamics and traction control, and a spin during the day left him unharmed and caused no damage to the car.

The team will complete its three-day test tomorrow, Thursday, when the two EJ12 chassis are again expected to get track time.
