Jordan Grand Prix will unveil its 2002 car, driver line-up and livery at a major press conference to be held at Brussels Airport on Friday 22nd February at 12pm CET.

The Jordan Honda EJ12 will appear in its full 2002 livery for the first time and, as previously disclosed, it will feature the familiar yellow colours of team sponsors Deutsche Post WorldNet and Benson and Hedges.
Deutsche Post, who also brand the car with their DHL and Danzas logos, will be confirmed as the new title sponsor of the team with Benson & Hedges also remaining as a major sponsor, if in a reduced role.

Jordan will announce several new sponsors at the Brussels launch. "There will be new sponsors and they will be new names to Formula One. It's not all doom and gloom in Grand Prix racing," a team spokesperson said. "The budgets at the team are healthy."
There will be also be a major announcement at the Press Conference, details of which are as yet unknown!

The venue has been chosen due to the timing involved. The team has to prepare their equipment for transportation to Melbourne and Zaventem airport in Brussels is one of only two places in Europe where X-ray machines are large enough to scan F1 cars.
The German postal & delivery company are in charge of organising events for the day. "Deutsche Post are organising the launch. In the past it has always been in the United Kingdom but they are launching the car in the way they want to," the spokesperson said. "If we had been able to do it sooner we would have but until now we had not finalised all the sponsorship."

The elevation of Deutsche Post is probably likely to ensure that young German driver, Marcel Lasee, will be named as the team's test driver. The launch should also clarify the Pat Symonds/Eghbal Hamidy rumours that have been circulating over the last few weeks.

Immediately following the launch the EJ12 will join its two sister chassis in being flown from London to Melbourne for the opening round of the World Championship on March 3rd, while team drivers Giancarlo Fisichella and Takuma Sato will accompany Eddie Jordan on a trip to Tokyo to attend Honda's start of season press conference on Monday February 25th.
