Engine troubles for Takuma.
|
The two Jordan drivers had a difficult time on Day 2 at Barcelona. A problem with engine pressures kept Takuma Sato and Giancarlo Fisichella in the garage more often than on the track as the team worked to solve their dilemma.
Fisichella completed 38 laps and recorded a quickest lap time of 1:20.52, placing him third on the time chart. He focussed his efforts this morning on aerodynamic development and general set-up work. The team spent most of the afternoon resolving his small pressure problem with the car, however his engineers are optimistic about the progress made to date.
Sato completed 23 laps, with his few minor problems preventing him from making full use of the available track time, however his work on race set-up using worn tyres proved to be a beneficial evaluation for the team.
Jordan Honda will complete its test in Barcelona tomorrow with both drivers.
