Infineon, missing from the EJ12, but still on the headed notepaper!.

Jordan have denied reports of a split with a sponsor who didn't want to be seen as 'losers'.
The Independent claimed on Sunday that the German based microchip company has pulled funding worth an estimated $6 million due to their dissatisfaction with the team's recent results.
"In a tough time it's not good to have the image of a loser. It's no good fighting for places five and six," Infineon's head of sponsorship Birgit Fischer-Harrow was reported as saying, although the team are even struggling to do that this year.
But in a statement, Jordan denied that they had parted company with Infineon.
"With regard to rumours, currently published in a variety of media in both Germany and the UK, as well as on numerous websites, both Jordan Grand Prix and Infineon would like to categorically deny that there has been a parting of the ways between both companies.
"Whilst Infineon's sponsorship of the DHL Jordan Honda team has been reduced this year to suit their current economic climate, both parties enjoy an ongoing successful technical partnership on the electronic development of the cars. The partnership is demonstrated by Infineon branding, which appears on the Jordan website and media paper."
The extent of the reduction must be severe however, as Infineon's sponsorship section of their webpage, which lists many motorsport connections, makes no mention of any connection with the Jordan team - they obviously see the partnership as pretty insignificant.
The Silverstone based outfit, who have yet to score a point this year, announced major funding changes before the start of the season when DHL took over from Benson and Hedges as their title sponsor.
B&H still have a deal with the team for 2002 albeit at much reduced levels but other major brands from 2001 are no longer colouring the team’s chassis including Mastercard and Lucent so the Infineon decision will be a big loss.
