It is quite a task removing the original cable. The hold down bracket in the plane is fastened with three bolts. Once these are removed and the top frenolic block is removed carefully remove the bottom brackets or they will fall down below the floor plates.

There is an AD to check the relief spring in the governor at every annual. You can buy spare springs for $7.00 each and I suggest you keep several on hand.
