Looks:
Ayame's a young wolf demon, who's around 15-16 years old. She wears black armor, with a strip of red across the chest, white fur leg and wrist cuffs, a white fur cape, and a white fur wrap around skirt with a belt. She probably has a tail, somewhere under her cape, but it's not visible in the show. Her hair is a deep reddish/brown, and is usually worn in pigtails. Her eyes are a medium turquoise/green.
Weapons:
Ayame mostly uses her razor sharp leaves in battle,
but she also has an attack where she punches the
ground and a whirlwind of leaves comes up and slices
enemies (I guess you could say that's a special attack). She also has a sword that is held up by her belt, but she has never used it in battle.
Up side:
She has a strong spirit and doesn't give up easily.
She cares for her wolves as if they were her own, and never loses faith in herself. She also loves, and is very dedicated to Kouga. Now if only he would notice her!
Down side:
Her stubborness, and jumping to conclusions. She attacks Kagome, because she thinks she is stealing 'her' Kouga and chews her out because she says her name is similar to her own (and the only thing that's similar is that they both have 'me' at the end of their names). She can also get a bit whiny at times. When Kouga tells her that he needs a mate who can sense shikon shards, she promises him that she'll learn to sense them and goes back to the mountains.
Overall:
She's a great person, but she just can't seem
to win. Kouga actually does remember his promise, but keeps that to himself. She has a tough time keeping up with her tribe, and her grandfather, who is growing old. She gets help from her uncle though. She keeps Kouga's promise as one not yet fufilled, but hopes he will decide to fufill it one day. And she will be entirely ready, if he ever does.
