SAILOR OBERON: YEAR ONE
PART SIX: WINDY'S REVENGE (BY INVID HELLCAT)
Queen Elizabeth I Jr. High School:
Windy stood on the roof of her school just crying. Every time her eyes
closed all she could see was Janet plummeting to her death. It had been
almost six hours now and the tears just wouldn't stop. She had sworn to
get revenge on the one responsible for her best friend's murder. Now
that she was more powerful than she had been she knew that her revenge
was within her grasp. Zephyr was going to pay, and pay dearly. The only
problem was she had no idea where to start looking for her adversary.
This frustrated Sailor Oberon to no end. After the defeat of Xombor she
doubted that Zephyr would be willing to confront her head on. The
Senshi of Magma knew that she had to take the fight to Zephyr. Windy
would get her revenge or die trying, but one thing was certain when the
final battle would come only one of them would walk out of it alive.
"Just like the show says you little witch there can be only one!"
Sailor Oberon shouted once again into the night. Her tears now dried up
for she none left to cry, she decided that she had better get home and
get some sleep she had a very long day in front of her. 'Some how some
way Zephyr I will find you, and I will kill you for all the pain and
suffering that you've caused me.' She thought as she leapt into the air
towards home.
Zephyr's Base:
The Dark Kingdom lieutenant was not happy about hearing that Xombor had
been killed and that was just compounded by the fact that Sailor Oberon
was now more powerful than before. Unfortunately for the Youma that was
the bearer of this bad news she took the brunt of Zephyr's anger and
died because of it. "Damnit, damnit, damnit!" She yelled to no one in
particular her rage boiling over. All her dreams of glory seemed to
crash in around her, and start to dissolve into nothing. Then she
realized that she had one last ace in the hole. The energy that she had
collected she could use that to give herself a huge power boost, and
kill Sailor Oberon once and for all. Yes it was a gamble to use that
energy if Queen Beryl found out she would be very, possibly violently
angry, but if she succeeded she would be able to gather back all the
energy that she used and more. Failure was not an option. Failure meant
death, either by Sailor Oberon's hand, or Queen Beryl's either way she
doubted it would be a quick and painless death. She was more worried
about Sailor Oberon at this point because not only was she now more
powerful, but she had also lost her best friend, but Zephyr was sure
that with her best friend now dead Sailor Oberon was now driven by
that all consuming fire called revenge, and that would make any enemy
more deadly than usual.
Windy's House:
Windy was sleeping a fitful sleep. She couldn't shake the image of
Janet falling. The sickening thud of Janet's body hitting the ground,
but most of all she couldn't escape the hideous laughter of Xombor the
hideous laughter at her pain and anguish. It seemed as though the
world was being enshrouded by dark clouds. That the light of life had
been turned into the darkness of death. For Windy it seemed that those
same dark clouds were calling to her and slowly ever so slowly
beginning to embrace her. She didn't fight them in fact their embrace
felt inviting and warm. The visions of this as yet unknown daughter of
Saturn that she was supposed to find were slipping out of her mind,
and thoughts of vengeance were creeping in. Dark visions were beginning
to replace the innocent dreams of youth. She had a power that few
others possessed, and fewer still understood. What good was having
this power if she could only respond to evil why not take the offensive
why not make sure that every evil was dealt with so no other innocents
would have to suffer. A small part of Windy did fight against this
onslaught of darkness. A small part of her knew that this could only
lead to her being as bad if not worse than the evil she had sworn to
fight against. Yes, by following that path she could eliminate evil but
it would be at the cost of her own innocence, and some would say her
soul. In the end the victory would really belong to those who she fought
against. A tug of war for Windy's conscience was now beginning, between
her duty as a Senshi and the terrible forces of vengeance, anger and
hatred. When Windy finally awoke in the morning the struggle continued.
Windy felt as though she needed the darkness to win this struggle, but
something inside of her told her that was just foolish thinking and
that you beat darkness with light, not more darkness. At this point
though Windy didn't care as long as she grabbed victory by days end.
Loki could tell that something was wrong with his charge. He feared he
knew, but he was hoping that he was wrong. Considering the days events
yesterday Windy's mother let her stay home from school that day. That
suited Windy just fine. She had plans to make. Zephyr's head would roll
by weeks end, or so help her she'd tear the entire country apart trying
to find her. To Windy Zephyr was now living on borrowed time.
Zephyr's Base:
Zephyr had a gut feeling that Sailor Oberon would be hunting for her,
so she had an idea. Zephyr knew that it was a question of when and not
if Oberon would find her, so she reasoned that it would be better to
just get it over with now. She'd give the Senshi an open invitation to
settle this matter once and for all. She figured that this way would
cost less energy, and save more time both of which of she needed. Once
again the glory that Zephyr craved seemed to be within reach. Only
one last obstacle remained, but that will quickly be dealt with.
Toronto International Airport:
Windy stood alone on the highest level of the parking garage. It was
still early morning and it looked like it was going to be a beautiful
day. There wasn't a cloud in the sky, and the temperature was mild.
There was a slight warm breeze blowing. "Nature is mocking my grief."
She mumbled. Loki looked at Windy when he heard her speak. The first
words she had spoken since telling her mother goodbye a couple hours
ago. "What did you say Windy?" The cat asked worry in his voice. "It
was nothing important." She nearly snapped back. The cat shook his
head. "Don't get all defensive, I know you just lost your best friend
but that's no reason be snippy." Loki responded sourly. Windy just
snorted. "Whatever." She said in more subdued tone. She looked back
into the distance. "She's out there Loki, and I want her head on my
freaking mantle before the weekend." She told the cat. "I'm going to
kill that witch with my bare hands if I have to!" She shouted at the
rising sun as if it could understand her pain, anguish, and anger.
"Windy don't do this. This isn't the path you should be trodding it
only leads to ruin." Windy turned around and stared at Loki giving
the bronze cat the gaze of death. "Do you really think that I give a
damn Loki as long as that bitch dies?" Windy shouted as she slammed
her fist down on the ledge. Loki was shocked. When he first met Windy
he knew that he was in for an uphill battle, but he wasn't ready for
this kind of battle. 'Great this was the last thing I needed, first she
was reluctant to take this gig, and now she's letting herself be
blinded by vengeance.' Loki thought to himself but left the words
unspoken. Loki saw Windy take her henshin stick out of her pocket.
"Oberon Star Power, Makeup!" She spoke as she transformed. "Come on
Loki let's get out of here." She spoke in a calmer voice. Loki hoped
up on Windy's shoulders as she leapt into the air.
Janet's House:
Sailor Oberon had landed a short distance away from the Avalon
residence. She changed back, and walked the rest of the way to the
house. It was as she had expected, Janet's parents were home. She
didn't doubt that they were in house grieving over their lost daughter.
It had been hard to explain to them just what had happened. Thanks
to Loki using some telepathy everybody had just assumed that Janet had
been the victim of a hit and run. At least that kept those who didn't
have to know from finding out the truth. Shortly after she arrived at
the house she saw Janet's parents leave the house. Windy figured it
must have something to do with making funeral arrangements. After they
had left, Windy walked up to the front porch and unzipped a cushion to
one of the lawn chairs and took out a spare key to the front door and
let herself in. She walked up to Janet's room. Memories flooded Windy's
mind. Memories of happier times the two girls had been best friends for
years, and it just seemed like those times would never end. Now those
times were over forever. Windy lay down on Janet's bed, and picked up
a picture off of the nightstand. It was a picture of the two girls that
had been taken recently. It was taken at Windy's 13th birthday party
inside Windy's house. The picture showed both girls smiling, and
holding hands as they did quite often when they were together. Windy
read a little note that she had written on the bottom of the picture.
It had a heart drawn on it saying "best friends forever Love, Windy."
Windy's eyes began to tear up as she stared at the picture. "Big
sister." Windy said as she put the picture back on the nightstand. She
then broke down into wracking sobs. It didn't last long though when the
tears dried up she stood up and gritted her teeth. "I will avenge you,
I swear it." Windy swore as she walked out of the room. Loki was
frightened by the sudden change in demeanor. Windy was perilously close
to walking head long into the abyss, and that would only bring disaster.
"Windy, be careful you're treading on dangerous ground." Loki spoke
with calm concern. "Hellfire and brimstone Loki inferno or floods,
whatever it takes." She replied her voice sounding cold and distant.
"I'm not going to lose you to your own inner demons Windy." Loki
warned. "If that's what it takes I'm willing Janet's death will not
have been for nothing." Windy snapped back. Loki was going say more
but he figured that it would have fallen on deaf ears if he had. If
Loki could have shed tears he would have, for it was becoming painfully
obvious that Windy had already walked into that abyss.
Winston Churchill Memorial City Park:
Pam and Justin were walking in the park holding hands and trying to
comfort each other as best they could. The announcement of Janet's
death had hit like hit everyone who knew her like a bullet. They
couldn't believe that their friend was now gone. They were both worried
sick about Windy since they hadn't seen her at school at all. But, they
really weren't surprised. They both guessed that Windy had been totally
crushed by the news. Pam had rested her head on Justin's shoulder. "I
still can't believe that Janet is..." She couldn't bring herself to
finish her sentence. Justin just took hold of Pam's other hand. "I
know, but just remember she's now free from all mortal cares. There's a
reason why she was called back home at this time. She's doing better
things now in a better place." Justin replied as he took Pam into a
gentle embrace and kissed the top of her head. "I know, but still I
can't believe it." Pam whispered as she continued to sob. "Me too
sweetheart." Justin whispered back. They both started to walk to go and
visit Windy.
Windy's House:
Janet's death did make the local news that night, but only as a story
of the police looking for anybody that had any information about a
fatal hit and run "accident." It was right after that story that the TV
picture went fuzzy, and Zephyr's face appeared. "Sailor Oberon I know
that you can hear me, if I'm right you want to kill me to avenge your
friend's death. So, lets just end our conflict I'll be waiting for you
come to that same park that you first battled Xombor in and you'll find
a portal that leads to me. It will be a one on one combat to the death.
Anytime you're ready." Then the picture went back to normal. The
newscasters looked stunned as though they had seen and heard the
challenge as well. Windy's mother just looked blankly at the television
for a few seconds. "Who is Sailor Oberon?" She wondered aloud. For the
most part Sailor Oberon was still relatively unknown. 'So, looks like
you're as eager as I am to finish this I'll be there.' Windy thought
silently accepting Zephyr's challenge. She'd wait for her mother to go
to bed then leave. Tonight one way or another this was all coming to an
end. Before dawn either her or Zephyr would be dead, and Windy had no
plans to loose.
Zephyr's Base:
Zephyr sat at her desk waiting for her challenger to arrive. She just
somehow knew that Sailor Oberon had heard her. She knew that it was now
only a matter of time before their first and only face-to-face meeting.
She was going to prove herself once and for all that she was worthy of
Jedeite's love and attention. That she was worthy of Queen Beryl's
respect. She was going to prove that she was not just some little
lovesick girl that everybody made her out to be. Victory was going to
be hers and she'd bring the head of Sailor Oberon to her Queen she
would forever hold her place in Dark Kingdom history. Her and Jedeite
would rule one fifth of this universe like Queen Beryl had promised,
and they'd do so as husband and wife. She would not fail, she could
not fail. She will win. "I will obtain victory. I will prove myself
beyond all doubts!" She shouted at her empty base. It was now only a
short matter of time.
Three Hours Later, Winston Churchill Memorial City Park:
A lone figure walked around the park. How many happy moments had been
spent here? How many secrets revealed, how many laughs shared? How many
tears shed? So many memories so many good times, but now all that
remained were the shadows of those memories. Memories that seemed as
distant now as the memories of her first life. At this time of day the
park was mostly deserted. The shadows that were cast by both the
moonlight and the parks lighting system made the place seem surreal.
Spooky would be good word for it. Windy walked over to a swing set and
took a seat. "Janet, it's so unfair. I should have been the one to die
not you." Windy spoke into the darkness as she began to swing. "Janet I
love you big sister, ever since the second we met. I just don't know
how I'm going to able to live life without you in it." Windy said as
tears began to flow down her cheeks. No matter how hard she tried she
couldn't remember the good times that they had shared without also
thinking the end. "I promise you Janet I will kill Zephyr, and then you
will be able to rest peacefully." She sobbed. Windy didn't know why she
was delaying what would most likely be the final battle between her and
Zephyr. As much as she wanted to end it, as much as she wanted revenge
for some reason she couldn't bring herself to take that step that final
fateful step. She knew that destiny awaited. All she had to do was walk
over to it. But then again there was that little something holding her
back. She felt like she needed to wait just a little bit longer. Windy
jumped when could have sworn she felt something touch her shoulder. She
looked behind her but saw nothing. Then she thought that she had heard
laughter, but there was no one around. Finally she decided that it must
be a product of her imagination. She closed her eyes for but a second
trying to shake those feelings.
Two Years Ago:
It was spring break, and Windy and Janet couldn't have been any
happier. The girls had gone to the States with Janet's family. The two
friends did everything they could together. Janet was visiting some
relatives an Aunt and Uncle, and their two children. Janet was showing
Windy around the town that they lived in. One day shortly after Windy
had woken up and eaten breakfast she found herself being literally
dragged out of the house and to a small little clearing in the woods
close to where Janet's aunt and uncle lived. Windy was curious as to
why Janet was bringing her boom box with her. Janet just smiled at
Windy's question. "You'll see, little sister." She answered playfully
with a wink. When they arrived Janet set the boom box down on a tree
stump. "Now what kind of a friend would I be if I didn't teach my best
friend how to dance?" Janet giggled as she put a tape in. Windy just
blushed. "Janet you know I don't care to dance." Windy said shyly. This
brought another round of giggling from Janet. "I know, but you don't
know what you're missing." Janet replied with a wink. Janet walked over
to Windy and told her what she should do. Janet showed Windy how to
slow dance. At first without the music, and then she walked over to the
boom box and turned on the tape the song that started to play was "The
Rose" by Bette Midler. Janet was impressed at how quickly Windy picked
up on the slow dancing. "Good job sis." Janet told Windy as she gave
her friend a pat on the back. Despite Windy's face being crimson from
blushing so much she was able to reply. "Thank you." Windy whispered.
Janet just laughed and shook her head. Telling Windy that there was no
reason to be embarrassed. "Look at it this way sis, at least now if
some cutie pie asks you to dance you won't be stepping on his feet the
whole time." She giggled again. This time Windy joined in the laughter.
She kissed Janet on the cheek. "Well, you're the only person I would
have wanted to learn to dance with anyways." She responded. The two
girls danced to several more songs before they headed back to the
house. When asked later about it both Windy and Janet would say that
moment was the single most enjoyable of the entire trip. Although Windy
would never publicly admit it she found that she liked slow dancing
almost as much as she liked track and field. From that day on whenever
the two girls were someplace where dancing was involved they always
found a moment to spend a dance with one another. She once heard one
of Janet's cousins talking about soul mates, and how that somebody's
soul mate doesn't always have to be lover, but it could be a best
friend. Whatever the case was that trip seemed to prove to both Janet
and Windy that they were soul mates in every sense of the word. They
had both made a vow that they would be each others maid of honor at the
other's wedding when that time came. Also on that trip they had each
bought a necklace with a little hart pendant that had the others
initials on it. It was something they wore almost all day everyday.
That trip had brought the girls as close as two friends could get. It
was one of their most treasured memories.
The Present:
Windy just sat on the swing tears still falling down her cheeks as more
memories played in her mind. Then it happened the memories stopped. The
sight of Janet falling to her death took their place. Windy screamed in
a rage of fiery anger. "Zephyr I'm coming for you! Can you hear the
reaper calling?" She shouted into the emptiness of the night. Those
dark clouds had returned. Windy longed for their embrace. This time
though their embrace was not warm and inviting, but rather hot and
intoxicating. She didn't care, for she was now well beyond the point of
caring. They gave her the comfort that she needed to do what must be
done. Loki had tried to tell her that what she was doing was in essence
making a deal with hell itself, but like she had told him before she
didn't care if that's what it took to avenge Janet she'd do it and do
it willing and happily. Loki had vowed that he would not let Windy
surrender to her inner demons for any reason just or otherwise, but he
also knew that he had to let her make her own decisions, including her
own mistakes. He only hoped that not actively doing more to stop Windy
from walking this road wasn't a mistake that was unchangeable. If it
was then Windy would be the true loser every time. She would become
that which she fought against. "Come on Loki let's go and find this
portal." Windy spoke voice as cold and distant as ever. Loki silently
followed. 'I hope I'm not making a mistake by not stopping her.' He
thought to himself. It didn't take long for them to find the portal.
"Time go into the lion's jaws." Sailor Oberon said under her breath.
Both Loki and Oberon jumped into the portal, and into the unexpected.
Zephyr's Base:
When the portal inside the base flared brightly Zephyr knew that her
enemy would shortly be on her way. She waited for the few seconds that
it would take for them to arrive. She stood a few feet in front of the
portal with her arms crossed. Then two figures appeared out of the
portal. One a human female dressed in a gray sailor fuku, the other a
feline. "Sailor Oberon, welcome. Now I know that you must be eager to
end this war of ours, and frankly so am I, so lets skip the
introductions and get down to brass tax. Namely the killing of each
other." Zephyr spoke calm and collected. "Zephyr in the name of the
house Uranus, and the moon of Oberon I'm gonna kill you!" Windy retorted
sounding like Zephyr's exact opposite enraged and uncontrolled she took
several steps towards the Dark Kingdom operative. Then suddenly Zephyr
and the room disappeared and replaced by a thick jungle. "I don't care
where you take me you witch I'm still going to have your head as my
trophy!" Windy shouted. "Well, lets just see if you can live up to your
threat little girl." Zephyr laughed in reply. Loki looked around
something about this jungle caught him as odd but he couldn't quite
place it. He tried to tell Windy that he thought something was amiss
but Windy wouldn't hear any of it. As Windy slowly made her way thru
the underbrush, she heard a noise from above. She looked up just in
time to see a winged Youma land a few feet in front of her. "I don't
have the time for whipping boys." Windy nearly shouted. "Magma Shot!"
Windy commanded her power. A stream of magma flowed from Sailor
Oberon's half closed left fist, but instead of hitting the target it
reflected back towards her. The Youma laughed, as Windy was barely able
to dodge her own reflected attack. 'Well, that's new.' Loki thought to
himself. He looked over to Sailor Oberon the look on her face said it
all. She was now enraged more fully than Loki had ever seen a human
being be. "You will die if I have to kill you with my own bare hands!"
She screamed at the Youma who just stood there and laughed. Sailor
Oberon launched herself into a flying kick. She connected with the
middle of the Youma's chest. It stumbled backwards a few steps before
loosing its balance. "Impressive Sailor Senshi but lets see how you
handle this." Zephyr spoke from some unseen place. The scenery blurred
for a few seconds and then a barren desert replaced the lush jungle.
"Come out and face me you coward. Like I said before there's nowhere in
the world that you can hide from me!" Windy once again shouted into
the air. The winged Youma vanished with the jungle but she found
herself standing face to face with a new Youma. This one looked like a
snake. "Magma Shot!" She commanded her powers once again. This time
the blast went thru the snakelike Youma it just laughed. "You haven't
figured it out yet?" The thing hissed. Windy was so far beyond the
point of caring she didn't even hear what was spoken to her. "I'm sick
of you flunkies. Where's Zephyr?" She demanded. Just then the Youma
vanished, and standing a few feet in front of her was the object of her
hatred. The desert had vanished and was replaced by the room that she
was first in. "My, my, somebody is in a really foul mood today." Zephyr
said in a mocking tone. "Come on Oberon a child could have figured out
that I was casting illusions at you, but you are just too enraged to
notice." She continued. "Cut the bull Zephyr stop being a coward and
fight me." Oberon said as she took a defensive stance. "Oh but I have
been in my own way. You see my dear I'm an illusionist, and a pretty
good one. I was throwing those low level illusions at you to try and
judge your mental state. Like I said most children could have seen
right thru those." Zephyr stated matter of factly. "But your right it's
time to stop the games. No more Youmas, no more tricks, just you and me
to the death." Zephyr challenged. Windy just smirked. "Shut up and
fight." Windy hissed her retort. "This is no illusion we fight on the
astral plane." Zephyr said and once more the room vanished.
The Astral Plane:
Sailor Oberon looked around her but saw nothing she could identify as
a solid matter. It just seemed to be a jumbled mass of lights and
colors. She then noticed Loki next to her. "Where are we?" Windy asked
Loki sounding confused. "Just like Zephyr said the astral plane. Very
few people can get here only the most powerful telepaths and magic
users can make it here." Loki told her caution in his voice. "That is
true we are on the Astral Plane but our bodies are back on Earth;
however, should we die on this plane the psionic shock will kill our
physical body." Zephyr laughed as she informed her opponents of what
was happening. "You're the only one dying today you murder!" Windy
shouted as she lunged for Zephyr. The Dark Kingdom solder sidestepped
the attack. "Sorry, but you'll have to do better than that." Zephyr
laughed. "Shut up and fight me!" Oberon shouted back. "Impatient aren't
we?" Zephyr retorted in a mocking tone as she let loose an attack of
dark energy that Oberon dodged. "Pathetic, you're as pathetic as your
flunkies." Sailor Oberon snapped as she unleashed her own attack.
Oberon's attack just seemed to be redirected in several directions when
it hit Zephyr. Oberon just stood visibly shaking. "What the hell
happened?" She shouted her question. "She must know how to manipulate
her astral body so she can erect a protective shield around her body."
Loki stated matter of factly. "So, the cat's not as stupid as he
looks." Zephyr laughed at Loki's comment. "I don't care what she can
do I'm still gonna kill her if it's the last thing I ever do in this
life." Windy roared back in anger and frustration. Zephyr then did
another energy attack once again Windy dodged the attack with little
effort, but Zephyr was able to control the attack and it hit Sailor
Oberon in the back. Oberon let out a cry of pain. Zephyr laughed again.
"Not so pathetic now am I?" She taunted as she kicked Oberon in the
rib cage. Windy was barely able to roll out of the way of the next
kick, and get to her feet. "You'll rot in hell for what you did!"
Sailor Oberon shouted as she shrugged off the pain. "Loki get on my
shoulders." She ordered her cat familiar. Loki looked confused but
didn't argue. Zephyr looked at Sailor Oberon in confusion for a second.
"What are you planning?" She mumbled to herself. She then shrugged her
shoulders and let out another attack. Windy just stood where she was
for a second then she vanished into nothing. Zephyr looked around her
for several seconds but didn't see any sign of her adversary. But a few
seconds later she felt an elbow in the back of her neck. "See I can
figure this place out too." Sailor Oberon stated sounding almost as
maniacal as some of the enemies that she had fought. Zephyr laughed as
she stood up again. "I see tell me something Oberon even if you do kill
me today will be able to look yourself in the mirror tomorrow and say
you've truly won?" She spoke calmly. Sailor Oberon just grinned. "If
you're dead then I will have won all I needed to win." Sailor Oberon
shot back as she leapt towards the Dark Kingdom lieutenant. Zephyr
dodged the attack and the following attacks with ease. Several minuets
later after attack and counterattacks had been tried and either dodged
or blocked the two combatants found themselves face to face with a
jackal headed being. "Who the hell are you?" Sailor Oberon snapped.
"I am Anubis guardian of the Isle of Dead Gods." The creature spoke his
voice sounding like a hollow echo.
Isle of Dead Gods:
"Anubis you mean like that one god of Egyptian myth?" Sailor Oberon
asked. "The same." He answered. "I've been watching your battle and I
see no clear winner regardless of the outcome, for your scales though
tilting one way now will surely tip the other, by battles end." He said
in his hollow voice. "Whatever, look all I know is she must die, or I
must die trying to kill her." Sailor Oberon responded. "Then, both of
you do as you feel you must, but head my warning, or else be prepared
to face unimaginable consequences." Anubis finished as he then vanished.
Sailor Oberon then turned back to Zephyr. "Now lets finish this, before
anything else interrupts us." Windy spoke somewhat more subdued. "Yes,
lets." Zephyr responded they both unleashed an attack simultaneously.
The two attacks met head on and neither gave an inch. Then a massive
explosion flung the two combatants backwards. Sailor Oberon was the
first to back to her feet. She noticed that Zephyr got up very slowly
she seemed to be in lots of pain. "So, you can be hurt after all."
Sailor Oberon taunted. It was then that Loki noticed that Zephyr's
silver cord had been damaged. "But, that's not quite enough to satisfy
me you murderous witch. I want you dead!" Windy shouted. "Dead, Dead,
DEAD!" Windy screamed. It was then that Windy noticed the sliver cord
for the first time herself. "What is that cord?" She asked. "All astral
travelers have one it's what connects the physical body to the psychic
one, if that cord is snapped the astral body dies and the psychic shock
then kills the physical body somehow either the explosion or her
landing damaged her cord." Loki responded. "Then all I have do to
finish off Zephyr is sever the cord the rest of the way." Sailor Oberon
said as she prepared to attack the cord. "It's not as easy as it seems
little girl, unless you're like me and know how to." Zephyr laughed
thru her intense pain. "Which I'm going to now do to you!" Zephyr
started to say but she never finished as Sailor Oberon executed a
flying kick that hit her in the chest. She stumbled back and landed on
her back. She screamed in pain. "You should thank me Janet never got
the chance to scream. Now you're finished." Sailor Oberon stood like
she was ready to do her Magma Shot attack but instead her entire left
hand turned into magma. "Good-bye Zephyr I hope you enjoy hell!" Sailor
Oberon sneered as she then grabbed hold of what was left of Zephyr's
silver cord. The cord melted at Windy's touch. Zephyr let out a scream
of pain the likes of which Windy had never before heard. "It is done
the warrior from the past has claimed her pound of flesh." Anubis spoke
appearing in front of Sailor Oberon. "So, she is dead, Janet my beloved
sister you are now avenged." Sailor Oberon cried as she fell to her
knees and wept. "Yes, her physical body is now dead but since you
killed Zephyr here in the Isle of Dead Gods her astral body lives, but
it will never be able to leave this place, for if she does she shall
cease to exist. Now leave this hollowed ground you have no more reason
to be here." Anubis spoke and then with a wave of his hand both Sailor
Oberon and Loki found themselves in Windy's bedroom.
