Chapter Eight- Cancer
Rating: PG
The Fortitude...
"Tell me, is Cancer in range yet?" Curien asked perched on his throne-like seat. Head leaned into one hand, whilst the other rested on his leg.
"Yes sir, shall I have the chamber activated?"
"Yes," He raised from his chair leaving the bridge. His cape stroking the floor behind him.
Marui checked his watch again. He'd been sitting in his car for over an hour, and Cairns' truck had been there for even longer. The truck itself was parked on a side street. Closed among other vehicles, all cramped considering the amount of space available. Larger vehicles seemed to be more centred, smaller ones like regular cars were surrounding. Marui had noticed things like that while waiting, to keep his mind awake. It seemed strange that such a pattern occurred. He noted it again and carried on studying Cairns' truck and when its owner would return.
Another car parked by all the others. Smaller one so it took the outside, and out stepped a mountain of a man emerged. Short cut blonde hair, wearing sun glasses. An immense square jaw line. He wore a jean jacket, its collar covering his neck. He wore jeans and brown suede shoes. Taking a bag from the passenger seat he thrust it over his shoulder. Marui just watched him disappear behind all obstructing objects. Mainly trucks and cars.
'Wait a damn minute,' Marui thought. He climbed from the car. That pattern of vehicles, that was too much of a coincidence. They were blocking a view way. Marui started after the guy who had just turned up. At a run he managed to see the man disappear into a set of double doors. Looking like a fire escape. The steel doors rang like a bell as they shut hard. Marui casually walked up to them. No handle that worked. He knocked hard.
"The hell you want?" A pair of eyes appeared from a cut in the door. Marui had to think fast. Cairns had to be in there, so Marui wanted whatever they had to offer.
"I'm looking for some action," he replied quite shortly and abrupt. Trying to keep a certain demeanour.
"We ain't got what you lookin' for," it was apparent from slang and by looking back through the eye-hole, this man was black. And being guard must be a considerable size.
"I got what you're looking for," Marui replied showing his entire travel finance in a single wad. The prize was studied for a minute. The eyes disappeared, then the door rang again as it was opened. Marui celebrated inside. He stepped in hardly noticeable. Just as expected, the man was well over six foot in size and could measure the other way at the same height. A figure not to be messed with. Marui nodded slightly uncomfortable and shifted by him.
Eagle eyes were upon him until he passed through another door into a large warehouse. Not a single window until you looked forty feet into the air. Stinging red light poured in and filled every spot of concrete floor it could. The actual lights weren't much help. Not a single one worked properly. Some never emitted a drop of light. Others flickered randomly and some hummed with a threatening sound. As if it were waiting to cause harm, how you couldn't tell, it just seemed like it. Thin walls, made from that rippled metal which filtered nothing from the outside. Weather, light, sound. It all got through somewhere.
There was a small and partial crowd, they all seem to not belong, men in neat pressed suits and shoes. Like business men, they didn't act like this however. People who didn't fit how they were presented. Fakes.
"What can I do ya for?" He was approached by a more realistic character. Small and weasel, thin moustache and a hooked nose. Tiny eyes, that was capable of being shifty but seemed to be relaxed and safe here. Pinstripe suite with matching hat. The sign of oily black hair underneath as well. He held a pad up with a pencil. A wad of notes making his chest pocket open slightly. Marui trusted him more, he was dressed to be him, despite looking the typical underhanded type, Marui knew this of him and could deal with this better.
"You could give me the tour to start with...." Marui lingered and looked at him.
"Bennie."
"Bennie, then show me the contestants," Marui chose his words carefully, making all nouns he could use both ways in case he was wrong. The man put his pad away and tucked the pencil on his ear.
"Most certainly, Mr...." He did the same for a name.
"Marui, just Marui."
"Right," a reassuring hand came behind Marui from him to usher forwards. Marui did so, going through a crowd and came back out the other side quickly. "These are the cages, prepared as usual. Barbwire so they can't climb up, padlocked gate, of course after they get in."
'Cages? Gambling over fights, but what?' Marui thought processing why Cairns would be here.
"The mats laid down are fixed in, they take away the blow a bit, but not too much," Bennie gave a little snicker and an elbow.
"Of course," Marui smiled less than goodly back.
"You can guess the rules, who ever has their back hit the floor first wins. We got sixteen guys playing you win you stay. Winner plays our home champ, unbeaten since he got the title himself. And the line up is in two minutes, I'll come back for your bet right?"
"Right," Marui replied. He was left alone and silently studied the cages himself. Sixteen guys in a tournament of some physical description. Cairns could have easily competed here. It made sense now, however was it for money or glory. Marui warranted money. Cairns was never a self confident man consumed by pride. The noise of discussion rose as the competitors entered the arena. Men soon to be swindled out of their pockets' contents lurched forward for a sight of the horses in this race.
There he was, Cairns walking silently, head down. Dressed in a combat vest and combat jeans. No shoes or socks, his head band had changed to an army style bandanna. He stood to face them all. Marui watched him and him alone, he never saw any of the other contenders.
"So who you going for? You don't you better get," Bennie appeared. "You don't bet chances are you're a cop, and everyone bets." He explained.
"So when they come to bust you, they go down too, right?"
"Sure thing. You seem to know the law, most guys don't get it." Marui raised some notes from his pocket.
"The guy with that chin line beard."
"Number twelve, he's on ten-one, not popular for some reason. But hell it's your money right?"
"Right?" Bennie pencilled in Marui's bet. "Sign please." He held up the book. Marui jotted his name down and Bennie disappeared. There were some minutes where the contenders were paraded. Marui could tell Cairns despised it. A bell went and the fighters stepped forward to designated cages. Four in all, whilst two stepped in each one there were two waiting outside. Gates were padlocked. Marui simply followed Cairns, he seemed the only person to be doing so. Cairns waited outside a cage while two others squared up to each other.
"Alright, lets fight!" A commanding voice roared above the excitement. He rang a bell and battle ensued. The men raised arms and they tangled with their opponents. Marui watched, it seemed like basic wrestling. Except no limitations. No holds weren't allowed, just throws, punches and kicks. Though the two he watched preferred technical throws rather than martial combat skills. The bell tolled behind him. "One fight down!" he heard after a chorus of cheers. He turned back. The two bounced from the wire walls. One bleeding from the eye, whilst the other could barely breathe due a swollen lip. They rushed. One side stepped and grabbed his foe round the waist. With some strength he lifted the man above him, it seemed back first for the guy until his feet contacted the wire wall and ran down them, ending back on his feet touching the floor. Quickly his legs ensnared the others guys and the loser tripped landing on his back. The bell rang, whilst on lookers roared with triumph others thumped the cage in disappointment. Now Cairns had to fight, something Marui had to see.
His opponent, happened to be the blonde guy Marui had followed into the alleyway which revealed this activity. He stood taller than Cairns and certainly seemed broader. Overall, he was at an advantage, Cairns stared ahead undaunted. He turned and leaned into the corner against one arm. The bell tolled again, another victor. Again soon after, all fights had stopped. Cairns looked to the side slightly to his opponent standing confidently watching him.
"Lets get this round underway!" The bell let everyone know the fight began at this point. Cairns turned completely and brought up a guard.
"Come on! Come on Miles!" Some guy shouted from behind Marui.
'Miles so that's the other guy,' Marui assumed. He watched on in silence. Miles pulled his arms up slightly and loosened up, lightly stepping around Cairns he drew his left arm tense and threw with his right. The off putting tactics caught Cairns in the ribs. Neither Cairns nor Marui flinched.
Cairns began to come to life now making steps of his own. This time Miles tensed his left and threw with it. Cairns parried but didn't counter. Miles went ahead with probing punches, raising a leg perfectly showing he knew a form of martial arts. Cairns dodged or parried, just missing the chance for a counter. Then Miles went for a strike which he intended as a fake, Cairns caught him the wrist and leaned in, catching an on coming knee, quickly he fired a fist to the side, Miles arched back not being able to crouch down. Cairns turned side ways and used a shoulder to knock him back. Miles landed in the corner holding his side, gritting teeth.
Catching his breath Miles dived for another attack, unleashing all available limbs, Cairns stepped back and avoided then countered. Grabbing a leg and the upper torso area, he lifted Miles off his feet with great ease. He gave a scream and then threw Miles to the wall, he landed face first with an unpleasant expression. Yet the fight never ended as Miles got to his feet again, evidently they had to be on their backs, literally. Miles' changed his stance and became more open, this allowed him to move his legs more, more so when it came to delivering kicks which offered more power than Cairns could block conventionally, he was now using two arms when not dodging.
Cairns had hard time concentrating, his actions were usually fluent and came instinctively. However the movements didn't come as usual. He felt something holding him back. He swayed low and left under another kick.
'Left block, strike right.' Cairns thought, he did so, catching Miles off guard and knocking him back. But did he think that? He started dodging again. 'Block left, strike right.' He followed instinct and got lucky again, hitting Miles squarely in the higher ribs. He never thought that. He took the time to look at the crowd when he had the time, but focused on the fight. Miles had been following an attack pattern. This was no fighter, he was not able to practice unique fighting patterns. 'Block left, strike right.' This time he heard a unison of voices, somebody else's and his own in his head. Miles seemed weak at the point Cairns had hit several times now. He tried that side on the attack, Miles kept a heavy guard as expected. Strike right, follow left he found a gap and Miles bent in at the blow. Cairns used body weight to throw him back, they were pretty close to the walls and Cairns followed him in, delivering another left blow and right at close quarters, he acted like a boxer now, getting in small punches when he could till he stepped back, blocked Miles' counter and ducked picking the man up again, this time he held onto him and arched backwards.
Miles fell on his shoulders and grimaced, he rolled upon landing, all the way over and finished on his back. The bell was heard, people had won and lost. Cairns walked from the cage to his only possession he carried. A small towel. Some went to help to loser of the fight whilst he wiped some blood from his lip and looked at Miles get up and walk away holding his right side which apparently hurt the most. Miles gave an anguished nod of approval as he was helped from the arena. Cairns nodded back. And looked around the gate. There stood Marui.
At first he looked at Marui because of the solitary look he had which made him stand out, however at second glance, he recognised the man. He had saved him from some weird freak a couple of days ago. 'How did he find me?' Cairns checked the towel he held and wiped his lip again. The blood was dry now. Slinging it to a shoulder he walked around the cage keeping eye contact with Marui. Neither one blinked.
"How'd you find me?"
"You really want to know?"
"I don't know, but I'm why you're here right?" Marui nodded, turning to lean against the cage. He crossed his arms and looked at his watch.
"It would be easier to show rather than say, but there's apart of you you've forgotten, somebody I want to bring back."
"The Moon Kingdom?" Marui's eyes widened.
"How do you know?"
"Creepy but as a kid I saw visions of it in my dreams. I just remembered your face, just now. Thought it was always just imagination. Tell me why would I remember that now?"
"Perhaps this," Marui answered holding out a crest with a symbol. "It may be triggering something in your memory." Cairns stared intrigued by the object his reached for it. Marui closed his palm. "Not now, I see you have money to earn, this may put you off."
"I'm already put off."
"I didn't intend to speak to you until you had finished."
"I've got twenty minutes until the next round." Marui looked around him.
"Anywhere we can talk in private?" Cairns nodded and led off, Marui pivoted and followed. He was led to what seemed like a dressing room for the competitors. Cairns sat whilst Marui stood in front of him. "Just relax and shut your eyes." Cairns did nothing. "They'll sting but it won't kill you, mind up." Marui glowed blue much to curiosity of Cairns, the Marui held out the first crest he showed him. Cairns reached for it.
In an instant he felt connected to Marui and the back of his eyes begged to push from their restraints. Cairns closed them then another world was revealed to him. It was the dream world he had as a kid. He was in the Silver Millennium again.
"Cancer, come forth!" Curien stood in his summoning chamber once again and the Zodiac replied with its presence. A grotesque woman, bald with the exception of a lock of hair in a pony tail. One slender arm, its hand a crabs claw. Its other arm, one huge pincer, bigger than her body.
"Yes master?" It hissed in a bubbly croak.
"Stay away from Tokyo and gather the energy we need to power our world, be quick the others have failed and my patience is wearing thin."
Cancer bowed as Curien swirled on his heel and exited.
"So you remember fully now?" Marui asked powering down his crest. Cairns rested hi head on hand, arm on knee. His breathing was heavy to say the least.
"Yes, why now? Why look for us?"
"I don't expect you to go back to it, I wanted to ask you now you know, if you say no, I'll erase your memory and you can go on living like it never happened."
"Then Beryl is back?"
"No she was killed, by the Moon Princess and her court."
"She's strong."
"More than she ever knows, her confidence in herself is little. It her confidence in her friends that give her confidence."
"A new enemy?"
"Identity unknown, motive for attacks unknown, all we know is that most enemies they have faced before have focused through Tokyo."
"That's where the dimension rip was from that last mission you sent us on in the Silver Millennium."
"It seems that Tokyo is a gateway to other worlds, there's one problem."
"That is?"
"They don't use dimension travelling, their in orbit around this planet and are capable of attacking anywhere on the globe." Cairns sighed. "I can make it all disappear."
"No. No you can't, the dreams as a little kid, recognising your face, you won't get rid of it. Even when I helped you out last time it was instinct that took over."
"Why did you run?"
"I'm on parole, I couldn't be seen in a physical tangle."
"You're here though?"
"I said seen." Marui nodded. Just then Bennie peered his head round.
"If you're done with the pep-talk, twelve your up to fight," his head disappeared again. Cairns looked to Marui finish this. Cairns left Marui there and went to fight.
Once again Marui stood outside the cage. Emotionless and motionless he watched Cairns fight. This time Cairns seemed more controlled and at ease. Fluent combat motions. His opponent, like Cairns was more used to brawling. They clashed close several times aiming tight punches at the sides. Each one taking the blows they received and heavily swinging their own. Throwing each other off they separated.
There was a stand off as they circled each other. Loud voices shouted as they welcomed the fight, seeing two men seeming equally matched. Again they clashed, Cairns grabbed his arm and levered the man over his own. He landed on his feet now, not letting go of Cairns, using his locomotion, he countered with a thrown of his own. Cairns left the ground, his back coming down to meet the earth below him, he spun, landing on his chest and winded himself slightly, clambering up and had to block an oncoming fist. Mouth dry and clenched tight rose from one knee and eyed the opponent. He let out a cry of amending strength, ducked low he struck for the midsection, aim true, he grabbed the foe by the waist and lifted him into midair.
*Thump!*
He felt a fist crash into his back, his motion kept going and soon collided with the cage fencing. Cairns was cushioned by the body he held in front of his shoulder, dropping the man to his feet he delivered a blow to the stomach. The force was spectacular, so much that his opponent bent forward, eyes almost bursting from their sockets. With a final move, Cairns tossed the man with a single arm to the floor, landing back first. A mixture of cheers and sighs as the fight ended, the bell tolled.
London, England...
A police car pulled over to the sounds and sights of a crowd rioting in fear. From the opening doors two PC's emerged, each dressed with the usual uniform attire.
"Bill, call in the guv'ner," he said staring absently.
"What for?"
"That," the first said pointing.
"Holy Tom tit, what is that!?" They stood watching at a crazed maniac chasing people armed with a large pincer. Bill ducked into the car and picked up the radio. "Control, this is PC Dobson in car 348, have spotted a single individual in Leicester Square attacking civilians, considered armed and dangerous, request back up including riot control, over." He held the radio down looking at the creature still.
USA, exact location unconfirmed...
Marui's ear bleeped, he checked his pocket, a Walkman by appearance. Yet it was another radio transceiver connected to his laptop. He looked up to Cairns who was waiting for his next fight.
"Lose it there's another attack, I have to get outside to warn the court." Cairns turned to him, a look of defiance in his eyes.
"You think that truck driving pays me well enough? This is how I earn my money."
"You don't need it now, you can earn plenty later." Marui left the warehouse without watching Cairns emerging to his next fight.
Sitting down in the driver's seat he watched the screen. "London." He lingered on the name. He enlarged, quite central, enlarged again, Leicester square. He picked up the radio. "Luna, you better answer this time."
"Luna here Marui, another attack?"
"Yes London, England."
"Oh."
"A problem with that?"
"No, it's just where Mina first fought as a Sailor, don't be surprised with complications."
"Acknowledged, I found Cairns, hopefully he'll be joining us."
"Hopefully?"
"He's getting out of some engagements."
"Right I'll alert the girls."
Tokyo, Japan...
"Girls, there's another attack going on in London, you have to get there," Luna ordered.
"London?" The girls turned to Mina who was first to get from her knees on the floor. Looking determined and pulling a fist down she let out a sign of approval.
"Lets do it."
"Right!" A chorus of answers.
"VENUS STAR POWER!" A golden burst of light.
"MARS STAR POWER!" An insignia of flames.
"MERCURY STAR POWER!" An oceanic burst of waves.
"JUPITER STAR POWER!" A static release of green.
"MOON CRYSTAL POWER!" A pink aura as Serena became Sailor Moon. "Right where is Marui?" Luna went back to the radio.
"Marui where are you?"
"If I knew I would tell, just focus on teleporting to America, I'll activate my crest it'll act as a beacon, it worked last time didn't it?" Mercury nodded.
"It did, I'll use my scanner to pick it up quicker." The girls focused their powers and initiated the Sailor Teleport.
All five watched the spectrum fly by in a dazzling array, certain destinations showed. It was funny how, when a long teleport was in order how the destination couldn't be very specific to them. They watched ahead seeing a pillar of white light, almost blinding, it was Marui activating his powers. Their globe which carried them directed down the pillar and dissipated as they reached the surface. Marui stood waiting.
"Ladies, may I introduce Field Commander Joseph Cairns," Marui first said making quick introductions.
"Marui, how do I get my Heavy Judgement back?"
"Huh?" Sailor Moon asked.
"His weapon," Marui answered. "Activate your crest, it should just appear."
"Strength Up!" A green light encased the tower of a man and before him a halberd appeared, he took it in one hand around the middle of the handle. He powered own. "Lets go now." The Sailors formed a circle.
"How do we manage this?" Sailor Moon asked. "We can teleport with Tuxedo Mask in the middle but two people?"
"Our crest may suffice enough power to compensate," Marui suggested.
"It should be OK," Mercury answered. "If they can feed us enough energy to maintain the teleport there's nothing to worry about." Once again, with Cairns and Marui on the inside the girls powered up.
"MERCURY POWER!"
"MARS POWER!"
"JUPITER POWER!"
"VENUS POWER!"
"MOON CRYSTAL POWER!"
"Mind Up!"
"Strength Up!"
Another rainbow of colours as the group disappeared and transported.
London, England...
"What am I supposed t'do!?"
"Ask it to dinna? Shoot it you nonce!" The two on scene PC's debated on reacting to the new and highly dangerous situation. They both rose from cover each armed with a pistol in hand. "Alright now! Lets calm down ai? Just take it easy now, don't want anyone getting hurt do we?"
"Speak for yourself!" Cancer hissed bearing on them, startled they rose weapons.
"I swear to God I'll shoot, just keep yer distance!" Cancer paid no attention and proceeded forward. The younger closed his eyes and pulled the trigger not knowing if he aimed at all. Cancer spiralled in midair, effortlessly dodging the casing.
"Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Bill you see that?"
"I did or hoped I didn't, never seen anyfing like it."
"I have, a while ago. But-." They ducked as Cancer dived for them, they sat back one hand on the floor. "I don't think anybody can help us, I mean she disappeared."
"VENUS Crescent Beam SMASH!" Sailor Venus shouted as bursting energy exploded from her finger tip, not actually hitting Cancer but knocking it back from attacking the police on its second attack.
"Well bless my soul, that's a sight for sore eyes, thought you had deserted us Sailor Venus."
"Well I'm back and now its time to kick some evil butt!" Venus exclaimed moving across to Cancer. "And this time I've got friends." Sure enough Sailor Moon, Mercury, Mars and Jupiter emerged, keeping silent in foreign ground. Marui and Cairns remained unseen.
The Fortitude...
"Show yourself Mercia," Curien growled watching the events through a monitor on the ship. "You're there, I know you are."
London...
"I think you'll see things my way soon enough," Cancer grinned clashing both pincers. Taking the larger one back it jumped high and dived for the sailors.
"Break!" Moon shouted diving to the side and rolling. Cancer made a huge divot in the cement they stood on two seconds ago. And before reaction was possible Cancer spun on its toes reaching high speeds before letting out a blast of some description which travelled in a radius. The Sailors jumped back but not far enough, each fell in a different direction.
"This ain't good," The elder PC muttered watching the fight. Cancer stood over Venus, the nearest pincers chopping insanely, she saw the outline of the creature dragging her body back so she could attempt getting up.
"Strength UP!" Cairns emerged from nowhere and held the large pincer open. Venus got to her feet to see Cairns holding open the weapon which could crush a car with the greatest of ease. His elbows buckled slightly, then with a cry of effort he threw Cancer back and chased her shoulder in front of him. They collided, Cancer was pushed even further, this time causing rubble by landing on its back.
"Mind Up!" Marui took a turn lifting Cancer and flinging her back towards Cairns. He prepared to attack the dazed monster.
"No! I got this creep!" Jupiter stood up and the antenna on her tiara rose. "Jupiter Thunder Crash!" Summoning her abilities, she sent forth a lightning storm and hit Cancer, making it shatter with pain. The body collapsed to the floor, still twitching a little. The seven edged nearer to it as it lay near motionless there.
"I guess you really nailed it Jupiter," Moon said peering over.
They jumped back as Cancer sprang to life again, with its last ounce of strength, it had grabbed Marui by the throat and strangling him to death. Marui dropped his staff and tried to loosen the grip. Cairns came charging behind, Heavy Judgement held high. Undaunted Cancer, swiped its large arm round, catching Cairns in the chest and knocking him to the wall. The mass build of the knight fell to the floor in a heap, whilst Cancer concentrated on taking Marui's life.
"VENUS Love Chain Encircle!" Using Cancer's tactics against it, Venus encircled the monsters throat and pulled hard choking it. "Sailor Moon."
"Right," Sailor summoned her sceptre, "Moon Sceptre Elimination!" Hurtling the energies to Cancer there was a bright flash and they girls sighed. Then gasped, Cancer still remained. Holding its large claw up, the centre being severely scorched.
"That claw seems capable of deflecting attacks, it's a wonder why it hasn't used it before," Mercury answered relieving her eyes of her visor. "He have to hit it when it isn't looking."
"Close quarter battle seems effective, that claw maybe a weight disadvantage," Marui added regaining his strength. "If we circle it, some of us will be open to attack."
"Good idea, but it seems capable of keeping its back away from us."
"Perhaps, Cairns," Marui beckoned the injured man over, Mercury quickly looked at his arm.
"Another inch to the left, and your muscle would have been torn beyond repair, are you feeling ok?" Cairns just nodded.
"I need one more thing from you commander, can you manage another assault?"
"You can't seriously suggest-," Mercury cut in before another attack from Cancer interrupted the conversation, the three split ways.
"I have a plan, Lady Mercury," he turned to the others not included in the talk. "Can you keep it busy?"
"Easier said than done!" Jupiter remarked circling it, taking up Cancer's attention.
"Cairns, cut across its left side and pose a threat, then stay where you are, say a fair ten feet from it, just stay that side of the creature, then the rest of us follow suit until we form a parameter around it," Marui began.
"Its larger claw is on its left side, so it won't defend in time due to the weight, whereas the more nimble arm on the right would do so," Mercury thought out.
"Exactly, lets get this done with, I'm getting hungry." The three rose their heads. Cairns with his halberd in one hand summoned his extra strength.
"Strength Up!" and hurtled at Cancer sticking to its left side, Cancer tried bringing him to its right side but he countered its motions before diving with blade showing and swinging hard, missing it greatly but ending up behind the creature, the task was accomplished.
"Mind Up!" Marui followed suit, using his mental abilities to fling his staff at Cancer, he followed up and made it past the left side with great ease, holding his staff and powering down. He stood his position.
"What are they doing?" Mars asked with her usual confused annoyance inquiry.
"Just copy what they do, attack narrowly at its left side and get behind, eventually we'll form a circle around it," Mercury explained.
"Got it," Jupiter jumped and charged down the creature again keeping to its left side, she thrust a fist forward which connected with bone, both flinched, Jupiter rolled and turned shaking her hand. "Man! Its bones are made of steel!" The pattern was repeated until eventually the Sailors and Knight circled the creature.
"Mind Up," Marui whispered. He closed his eyes. 'Lady Moon, prepare to attack the creature and kill it,' He said in his thoughts. Moon looked stunned for less than a second but nodded. Then using his powers he again threw his staff at Cancer. Cancer turned and hit the staff with its larger claw.
"Moon Sceptre Elimination!" Sailor Moon aimed and aimed true, Cancer turned to nothing where it stood.
"Well blow me, it took seven of 'em this time, reckon she lost her touch?" PC commented watching the fight.
"I dunno, looked quite mean and big if you take me meaning."
"Perhaps you're right," the elder one got up to his feet. "Right, a lot of peeping eyes round, best keep them away, lets get some barricades called in."
"Right you are guv."
