All About Me

Time to share a little about myself

My name is Scott and I am 27 years old. I used to live in
Michigan, but I moved to the sunny state of Arizona in late
1998. Fort the first few months I thought it was the best
thing I could possibly have done. But, for the same reasons
I originally liked it, I suddenly began asking myself why I
I did it. And all I came up with is this little insight which
I will pass on to all of you reading this...

No matter how much you may think it is the
right thing to do, NEVER move half-way across
the country so you can get to know someone
who you think you can trust. Especially if
your brother or sister was involved in your
initial meeting of this person.

Trust me on this.

Ok, now that I have attempted to help others from making the
same mistakes I have in the past, onto other topics.

Now, as for work, I am an all around computer and network
person. I have done just about everything from setup and
assembly to networking both large and small environments to
repair, programming, administration, etc. It started as my
hobby and then just took off from there. I have worked for
some really good companies as well as a few not so good ones.
As is fairly standard in my line of work in this day and age,
I am constantly looking for opportunities which will give me
both new skills and new opportunities. And as a result, I
have done what I did not think possible just three short
years ago. I have almost tripled my salary. Now, dont
misunderstand, I am not in it just for the money, but it is
one of the many aspects that help in keeping me interested.

I love animals of all kinds. When I lived in Michigan with my
parents, they had two dogs. One is a Samoyed named Duke and
the other is a mix breed named Shadow. After moving to Arizona,
I was given a beautiful Shepard - Pit Bull in the parking lot
of a Walgreens. Her name is Penny, and despite her breeds, she
is the most loving dog you would want to meet. Her coat is
bronze, hence comes the name, and she loves everybody,
including the cat of one of my roommates. I also donate
money to wildlife organizations whenever I can.

I am also what you may consider a technology freak. To give
an example of this, among the things I own are:
I own a CD Player, DVD Player, VCR, surround-sound speakers,
Mini-Disk player, Digital Receiver, cordless/hands-free phone,
desktop-server, 2 desktop workstations, laptop and handheld
computers. As for computer hardware, I own a CD Burner, zip
jaz, ditto, 17-inch and 21-inch monitor, full tower case, full tower case digital camera and digital video camera.

Now lets see what else I can say. I am 5 foot 6.5 inches tall,
light brown hair and hazel eyes. I am single and hoping. I am
not, at this time, actively seeking a relationship, due to the
circumstances surrounding my last relationship. But that does
not mean I dont want one.

I have a tendency to be impulsive. Althoughh after the last
impulsive thing I did, moving to Arizona, did not turn out
exactly as I would have hoped, I am working on controlling it.

I enjoy travelling, meeting new people, sunsets, full moons,
candle light dinners and looking at the stars. And that now
brings me to my idea of the perfect date. It would start out
with me picking her up and taking her back to my place, where
I would cook her favorite food. As the food was cooking, we
would sit by the fireplace and get to know each other better.
Then, we would sit down for a nice candle light dinner. After
the meal was over, we would then go out for a nice walk under
the stars. Then at the conclusion of the night, I would drop
her off at her house and say goodnight with a kiss on the cheek
and the promise for another date.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading, writing poetry and working
on my computer. I always try to find time to help others with
any technical problems they may have, from webpages to computer
issues. And, if I cant help, I try to find someone who can.

Now that I got all that out of the way, here is a list of
things I couldn't quite fit in anywhere else on this page:

Since the new Yahoo guestbook is so limited, I decided
to just go take it down until I find one I can actually
