| 1979 Ford Thunderbird, Black with red pinstriping, maroon interior. 302ci automatic. This is sort of the family car, it was bought by my mother in the late 1980's from an ex. ship captain, then in the mid 1990's was sold to my uncle and then in the summer of 2000 it was given to me by my uncle. It needed alot of work, including both front and rear bumpers... I managed to track down a front bumper in good shape quite easily, but it was more than a year and a half to find the rear bumper as they are very prone to rusting. The car is virtually all stock, with cloth bench interior, base AM only radio. In 2002 I added a new stereo CD player under the dash, but this will have to be relocated this summer. I also plan to buy and install all new front end parts on the car this summer. In 2003 I found a complete boxed set of manuals for the car on ebay. Currently I'm looking for a rear anti-sway bar, two rust-free front wheel wells, and base model side mouldings (with black painted pinstripe) to replace the damaged original pieces. | 1970 Plymouth Satellite, "Deep Metallic Burnt Orange" interior and exterior colors. The Satellite is a "B-Body" Chrysler product, and was one of three versions with this skin, the next step up in horsepower was a Road Runner, and then the top of the line was the GTX with lots of nice options to dress up the big horsepower. My car was built at the Lynch Road Assembly Plant in Detroit, Michigan, USA as a special order dealer demonstrator for a dealership in Newfoundland. Built with interior and exterior trim and lighting packages, front bench seat, heater and rear defroster, engine is a 318ci with 2bbl carb and automatic transmission it was listed as "high priced". The car was brought to Saint John, New Brunswick in the late 1980's and I purchased it in 1997. It is currently 90% dissassembled and waiting for the $$$$ and new parts to rebuild.
