Did you say goodbye?
Did doors close with words unsaid;
left deep inside a heart,
that feared rejection's pain?

Did you say I care?
Or did you think,
the time for that would come,
when next you kissed?

Did you say, I love?
perhaps you thought,
it wasn't right,
or felt it far too bold.

The doors will close,
and though rejection is a possibility too real,
the chance may never come again......
to let another feel your love.
