CC Reality Check "Rookie", as he's known around the barn, is bred to perform. His sire, GC SC Get Real, is an accomplished hunter, competing at the 3'3"-3'6" level. His dam, WC DC Angel's Bold Mc, is a successful jumper, with several wins at the 4'6" level at big shows. Impact is also in his lines, a worldclass Dam. Rookie has never raced, only been shown. His show career began as a yearling, when he showed in halter and potential classes (hunter, jumper, dressage, and eventing) As a 2 year old, he was even better. He won TWO In-Hand classes at a ToC Qualifier in early 2003. He went on to win THREE more In-Hand classes at the $50,000 Sporthorse Classic in June. In his very next show, he won TWO more In-Hand classes. Pretty impressive for a 2 year old!! Rookie was not shown at all from October 2003 until January 2004 in order to train him for under saddle work. In 2004, he's shown in hunter flat classes and Green As Grass level dressage, and he's already won in each. Rookie has a total of 20 wins so far in his showing career. He also is a money earner, with over $600 in earnings. Rookie seems to have a natural ability in dressage, combine that with his parents jumping ability, and he should make a good eventerin the near future.
