Master's Birthday Gift "Talk to Him"

The people were (here) from long distances. There were very few people from the local area. I think there may have been ten people from the local city, but mostly they were from north India, also from central (India). There were also two, three people who were from the south - Baroda near Bombay. So there was quite a good gathering and a very loving atmosphere. The people were enjoying the love very much. So, this is the controlling power. Where we have love, there we can accommodate thousands without any difficulty. Food (is) no difficulty, rooms (are) no difficulty, and other facilities (are) no difficulty. Bus (is) no difficulty [Master laughs]. So love accommodates everything. Love is so soothing and sweet that everything disturbing and every bitterness is sweetened in it. It makes everything sweet and comfortable. This we are to learn: to accommodate ourselves in love. Love is the panacea of life. If in a family there is love, then everybody is enjoying. May it be a very poor family, but there will be happiness, a smile on the face of everybody if there is love. But if there is hatred and people are jealous of each other and don't like to accommodate each other, may it be a very rich family, but there will be some stern frowns on the face of everybody, and the faces will not be able to smile. They will feel disturbed from each other. So, that is the mental condition of the people. We are only to fill our hearts and mind with the love of God and with faith in God. We feel disturbed from someone when we feel that we will be disturbed by him or we go to somebody for help because we feel that he will be able to help, nobody else will be able to help us, or we ourselves cannot help ourselves. There are generally two reasons for running this way and that way which is a source of disturbance: to ask for help or to run after facilities. But this is managed by our inside God power which is there inside. So we are to ask Him. "Ask and it shall be given unto you. Knock and it shall be opened unto you." If we believe God and we have got some disease, we have got some difficulty, we have got some problems, then we close our eyes and ask God, "Please, my dear friend, [Master chuckles] this person is very bad. Please correct him. [Laughter] This person is very terrible and disturbs me very much. Please deal with him. This is a very loving one and this is your grace, this is your blessing that he is loving to me. Please keep him loving." So if anybody is good and we are enjoying, we are to thank Him for that. If somebody serves us with a cup of tea, we at least thank him. If God gives us some comfort and something enjoyable, then we may at least thank Him. We should not be thankless because He has given us all this. But if there is some difficulty, there is some problem or disease, we are also to ask Him (about) that. We are not to depend on doctors, we are not to depend on lawyers, we are not to depend upon worldly helpers or the arrangements of the world that, "I have so much money. I have so much strength in me, wisdom in me." All these things are only just showpieces, only showpieces, as in some shops you may see some statues of women which look like women, but they are not women [Master laughs]. Men are also there who look like men, but they are not men. So similarly, all these worldly arrangements look like (arrangements), but they are not really. We should not depend upon look-like, but we should depend upon what is there. So, all that is visible, that is only visible. This is a truth. That is only visible. But if you want to enjoy what is visible outside, enjoy it inside. Enjoy it, enjoy it inside. If you enjoy water, where do you enjoy water? Not in the cup, but when you take it inside, then you enjoy it. Where do you enjoy a cup of tea? In the cup or in the tea kettle? No. When it is inside, only then you can enjoy the cup of tea. So, if we want to enjoy anything which goes inside our body, we can enjoy it there. We can only see (what is) outside, but cannot enjoy (when it is) outside. We feel outside and we enjoy inside. This is the ruling, this is the truth. Some things are seen outside and those are to be enjoyed inside, but there are so many things which are only inside, not even to be seen outside. You cannot find (them outside). That is also found inside and enjoyed inside. It means (what is) outside is only a showpiece, but we cannot touch it, we cannot enjoy it. If we like to enjoy it, then (from) inside, earth, mud, (or) dust will be coming out. You might have seen in some fruit shops that there is fruit made of clay. They make (objects) like apples, like oranges, and then they paint them, those earth balls, with colours that they look like a banana (or) like an orange. But if you touch it, you will feel (that) it is not a banana, it is not an orange. And if unluckily you eat it, then you will not eat an apple, but you will eat a clod of earth. So, that is the outer arrangement. Whatever you want to enjoy outside turns into bitterness. All outside is bitterness. The love which is from the outside world will not be enjoyable. The taste will not be a taste. In a little while it will turn into all bitterness. So it is only a little, thin film which is of sweetness, which is of love, which is of some enjoyment but just under that thin film, there is all bitterness. You take it with that sweetness, with enjoyment, with that love, but in a little while that bitterness will also be available to you and that has then gone inside. Then you cannot throw it out, you cannot spit it out - it is impossible. So this is the condition of the world. We marry each other in very good hopes, high hopes. [Master chuckles] High hopes are there. But when those hopes go away, troubles come out. We get children and we feel very hopeful that, "Now the home will be full of smiles with the child." But the child comes crying, he doesn't come with smiles. [Master chuckles] Then we have to work very hard upon him to make him smile. So, every smile comes with a problem to keep it smiling. It is also very difficult for us to keep ourselves happy, to be smiling. Otherwise sadness is already there, trouble is already there, a problem is already there because it is all surrounding - as darkness is already there. If you are to make a little light, you will have to light a candle. A candle is to be lit up so that you may be feeling a little light in the darkness. But if you are a little careless of the candle and a wind comes and blows it out, then you are again in darkness. You have not created darkness, but darkness has come because it was already there. With great efforts you could keep yourself in light but without efforts, if you are a little relaxed, again there will be darkness. So, to keep light, regular efforts, regular struggles will have to be done. This is the condition of the world that all these problems, troubles, and miseries are already there, full in it. We have to work hard and hard, hard and hard to have a little living atmosphere for us so that we may be able to live and exist. That is the reason why you are asked to come out of the region of this darkness and go into the region of the light where (there) is not only light, but (also) life and all enjoyment. (Even) if you like, you will not be able to find somebody sad or troublesome (there). You will not find anybody crying, (not) even children. You will not be able to be unhappy even if you like to be unhappy. You will not find it because there is no unhappiness and you cannot create (it) also. Without efforts you will find all that enjoyment, all that happiness, all that peace which is abundant. Fish will find water in the ocean without efforts. It will not have to bring water but there is plenty and it can enjoy it. It will not find fire anywhere even if it likes that, "At least I should see what is fire and may feel what is its properties and actions." It will not be able to experience even a little fire. But when it is on the earth, then it will be totally out of water and will be dying without it. If there is a little water - maybe in some big or small pond - it will always be in worry that, "It may go dry and then I will not be able to live." There are so many worries and worries. Sometimes it becomes hot from the sun, sometimes it is muddy and sometimes people disturb it. It is always in danger. Always. Death is there, and some mishappening is always to be expected. But in the great ocean under miles of depths of ocean - oceans are, I think, even four or five miles, six miles even deep, miles and miles deep - there is no danger, no worry, no problem for the life of fish over there. So, down we are all in dry land, but up we are in the ocean of life. Down we are to search for the life, but we find trouble, the opposite to life. We are deceived. But there (in the kingdom of God) we are not to ask for, but we are given. We are not to ask for! We are only to enter over there in the house of the Father and everything will be (there). "Seek ye first the kingdom of God and everything shall be added unto you." Everything shall be added to you; you are not to collect but something will be given to you. You are not to extend your hand, but some things will be thrown in your cloth and you will find it: what is the best, what is nice, what is needed for you. Life is over there for us and we will be able to live. Here there is only searching for life and no life is there, but we will have to suffer death and death, death and death until we completely die. As when a tree is not given water, it begins to wither. Slowly and slowly it goes on withering and withering till in a year or two, maybe in some months, it totally dries up. Roots also dry up because there is no water available to the roots even. Similarly the child comes, from that point he begins to wither away, and till the end of his life in old age he withers away. Activity in the child is the highest consciousness, activity. All kinds of (going) this way and this way, and running powers are very much in the child but (with) age, with the time factor, that consciousness, that activity goes down and down, down and down. Especially in the young age there is a great draw down because one uses that consciousness very terribly. Ill use of all those powers, of that consciousness, activity are there. Then so many diseases, troubles, worries, and problems come up and we feel weaker, more troubled even than in old age. But when one enters in old age, then one is really very much in troubles, worries, (and) weaknesses, so many kinds of weaknesses - mental weakness, spiritual weakness. Habits which one had gathered in one's life are also very strong, and one is always prone to any kind of disease. The eyes go weak, the ears go weak, the teeth fall down, the hands shiver, head shivers, and legs are also not able to even keep the weight of the body. Somebody is required to help us get up from our bed. Some people may not even be able to go to the toilet (on their own). So, where did all this weakness come from? Why was it not in the child? The child was not knowing (how) to walk, (not) knowing (how) to hold anything, but he was so active, so strongly active. Where did that activity come from? And where did all this passiveness (and) inactivity in the old age come from? Why did this deterioration come? That is the process of consciousness going down and down, down and down in the body. This is the cause. Saintly people and people who come in contact with the supply of consciousness from God through soul get more of consciousness. They enjoy the higher consciousness, not only bodily consciousness, but they begin to enjoy higher consciousness and also do not go down in consciousness, even in the body. Their physical working also is quite strong. Their seeing power, hearing power, or other powers are also going on well, and diseases are also nothing. Their body keeps working normally and they may work even more than a young person. Their physical work will also not suffer. But at the level of soul they will be able to work so wonderfully, so great, so great that their powers will be unlimited and unlimited. The more they may be entering into older and older and older age, the more and more they will be getting powerful and more and more powerful in their spiritual actions. They will be able to move the world just only with their little idea, little attention. So they will be able to do anything, create anything, demolish anything, or to change anything - to do or undo everything. These powers will be there with that contact of consciousness. Losing the contact of consciousness, we go down and down, into miseries, problems, and troubles. When we keep ourselves connected with the higher lifeline, that goes on giving us all enjoyments. I may tell you that there is no other important thing in this world. Any kind of worldly strength - maybe physical strength or intellectual learnings, etc. - or worldly positions, powers - one may be president or some great administrator, something like that - or any other relations, friendships, or so many other things of the world that we may enjoy, these are only things (like) toys that we are playing with, as a child is kept engaged with toys (so) that he is not disturbing his mother. (In this way) he is kept away but he will get nothing out of it. So he has only one thing - to waste his time, strength, and energy in playing with those toys and can only find tired and exhausted in the end of the game. (There is) nothing useful from it. So, all these things of the world are only (like) playing useless games, terrible games - I may say terrible games. If two persons are playing a game, one is the conqueror and he is very up (claiming), "I am the conqueror. I am the conqueror." "Show me please what you have got!" There is nothing to show. He who has lost the game (claims), "I am sad. I have lost the game." "What have you lost?" "The game has been lost." It is only a mental impression - mental only - that he has lost and a mental impression that one has won, conquered. No, (there is) nothing conquered and nothing lost! It is only mental understanding, we may call, only a created, mental craving. So, all these things of the world are mental cravings as we have engraved in the mind. There is a stone and in the stone we make the engraving of a devil and then we are afraid of the devil. "It is a devil. Oh, it will devour us. It will be very hard, it will be very terrible to us." We have made that statue of the devil, and after making it, we are very terribly afraid of it. If we have made the statue of an angel, then we are very proud (that) we have got an angel with us. But neither is that devil a devil nor is that angel an angel; it is only our mental engraving. There is nothing to help us, there is nothing to trouble us. These are only mental impressions. Under those impressions we fight with each other and then there is reaction to our own action. Then we find that we have really got trouble from somebody, but it is our own created trouble. If a dog looks into a mirror, he finds a dog over there and barks at the dog. The other dog also barks at him and then there is a fight [Master laughs]. So the dog fights with his own self. Similarly we are also fighting with our own self. So, something is behind. What we go on doing, that comes to us at some later stage. That comes through some mirror. These are the mirrors, active mirrors. The same seed which we had sown in somebody comes through another body and then we are reacting to that body, not knowing that, "It is my own seed which is coming out from the other one. The other one is also not my friend nor my enemy (but) it is an arrangement of nature that my own actions are coming to me - good in a good way, soothing way, and disturbing in a disturbing way." There is no one who is good, helpful, or an enemy of anybody. Our own self is the cause of all these things. The major difficulty is that we have not found the helper who is really our friend (so that) we may befriend him. If there is any difficulty, ask him, go inside, ask him: "Please, if I have done something wrong and I am bearing the fruit of it, you are the doer one (so) please mitigate it at least or help me that I may bear it patiently (and that) I may not feel disturbed if it is to be borne by me. But for the future, please keep me in your own commandment (so) that I may not sow any new disturbing seeds and that my actions may be controlled by you. I may be guided by you. I may not be guided by my own mind, mental impressions, or all these intellectual cravings. All these are creating new difficulties, new problems. But please be my guide, be my way, my leader, and lead me to life and protect me. If I have done all blunders and blunders, then you are there that you can help me and you can save me. You are my saviour. So, bless me (so) that I may be able to live." From there you will find all help to live from Him. So this is the source of life. Neither you can enjoy child life, nor you can enjoy a rich life, nor you can enjoy old life, nor you can enjoy a married life, nor you can enjoy life with children or with friends or with enemies or as great administrators or rulers. But you can enjoy life with your friend God, God-friend. That is a hundred percent true that if anybody could enjoy, if anybody can enjoy, it is only through this unfailing, most competent, and most friendly friend who has all love, all sympathy, and all affection for us. He is competent also, so sympathetic, (and) forgiveful. He doesn't consider any of our negativities, but He ignores all that and blesses us with His own attitude. He doesn't consider any of our actions, what we have done till today from lives and lives. He just neglects all that (and) throws away whatever it is. He doesn't open that package. He throws it into the sea - whatever it is. He doesn't like to open it. It may be good, it may be bad but He knows that, "What I will give will be sufficient for him. Only that is useful for him, and what he has collected is all rubbish. That is not to be of any use; that is to be washed away." So, He throws (away) everything, caring nothing, but He blesses (us) from His own blessings, from His own treasures which are all useful, sweet, and the best for us. So, our life is to be in the Master, our life is to be according to his instructions, and there is nothing that we will not enjoy. There will (not) be any worry, there will (not) be any problem, there will (not) be any pain. If there is anything, catch him here [third eye center]. He is here. Catch him over here. "This is the trouble. Please remove it. This is the trouble. Please remove it." He will remove it and will show the way, "Go this way and you will find no trouble. Go this way. You will find no trouble!" If he has blessed you, then thank him also, "I am thankful to you." Always converse with him and keep him with you as your permanent companion. In all weal or woe you are to feel him, to be with him. When you ask him from here [third eye center], he will answer certainly, hundred percent, and he will remove all your difficulties, any problems, any troubles. He will not only listen, but he will (also) go along with his action very actively, very strongly to really help you, and to really make you free of any kind of troubles. So don't run after anybody. Don't be worried about anything. Wherever you are, just go on talking with him. When you go to some garden, (tell him) that, "You have made a very good flower. You have made this flower very nice. You are so fragrant that your flower is also fragrant." If there is a thorn, then you ask him, "Please keep this away. This is hurting me! Let it be only for those who do not like the flower to enjoy, but they will like to pluck it and not to thank you." So whatever it may be, but at any stage we are always to talk with him, to converse with him. If we have our friend with us, a relative with us, we talk with him. Even if there are strangers travelling with us in a bus or in a train, we at least talk with them. So if there is a friend with us, why shouldn't we talk with him? We are dealing with a friend as a stranger, and we are attracting strangers (so) that they may be our friends but they cannot (and) will not (be our friends). They will only have lip sympathy with us, only a little conversation, no help. But there is (someone) from inside over here who is certainly there for you, to help a hundred percent, never failing in his love, sympathy, and in his action. "Ask and it shall be given unto you." But ask with surety, with surety, with full faith, (and) confidence and feel his place. He is there. So, we are to go to him and there we ask him. If we ask (for) something, we go to that person and then ask for something. If we are to ask for his help, then we are not to go to other persons (but) we are to go to him. Then if we want to get something done from the other person - that he should go this way, he should go that way - I should not ask him directly. I should ask him (who is inside), "Please make him go this way, make him do this." Then he will make him do the same because he can control this man. He can do (and) get it done - everything, whatever he likes from anybody. If I say (the same to) the person, he may not do (it) because I have no authority upon him. He may or may not. He may or may not. It is not sure. It is there that even the Master cannot depend upon the faith of his initiates. If he deals without the power of God working in him, if he wants to deal directly with anybody, there is no scope. But when the Master deals through his God power - as you have seen that here in this atmosphere, why was there so much love? Sometimes I was hard upon some (people, saying) strongly, "Get away", but that was physically. Why was there all the same love with all those people? It is not that my body was giving so much love or my mind was giving so much love, that I was so much loving to them that my physical or my mental love was reacting through their minds or bodies. But it was all that Godly love. The same is also working in you. So, this is the controlling power which the Master knows how to use, and he uses it. He collects thousands and thousands and millions (of) people even. They are so much attached that they leave their families, they leave their jobs, they leave their countries, they leave their comforts, and they are mad. [Master chuckles] Worldly people may say that they act as if they are mad. But that madness is not in their control. It is not in their control. It is controlled by that power, God power, which he uses at all times. He knows that power, its competency, and its relation with that. Then everybody wants to serve him, wants to devote oneself to him. This is not mental, this is not from the intellect, but it is thrown into their minds, into their intellects that they cannot work anymore in mind or intellect. But some great force is compelling (them) to do this, to go this way, and to go that way. Some people would have experienced some powers of the negative power like ghosts or other negative, devilish powers. If you want to do something, you will not be able to do that, you will not be able to go that way. They will strongly hold you over there. Sometimes you will feel consciously that, "There is some power which is controlling me and I'd like to do it, but I cannot." Sometimes it goes on working secretly which we do not even understand, but we do it, what(ever it) is. Afterwards we feel that, "It was not so good what I have done." Everybody is doing like that. We do something that after some time we think, "It was bad that I had done this." Then we repent upon it. There is some power which is compelling us to do and there is some power compelling us not to do. Some power is compelling us to go this way, and some very little understanding is coming that we say, "No, this is not good. We should not do it." But we will say, "No! I will do it." The other power is saying like that. So, one idea is from someone and the other idea is from the other one and the stronger one is there to make you do that thing. When our soul is weak, then the negative powers of the mind are stronger and they compel us to do all those things. But when we connect ourselves with the God power, then the soul is looked after by the God power. Then the God power begins to work. It expels away all other negative powers, and we are acting under the protection, guidance, and help of the God power. Then we are all safe. So this is the agency with which we are to live. Don't depend upon anybody in the world. Only depend upon the God power, the Master power. Even (if) you feel that, "This is a very good thing and I should eat this apple. This apple is very good and I will enjoy it." No, never! (But ask Him first), "Please, God, this is something which has been given to me. I am going to eat it. Please help me that it should not be harmful in any way. Please make it sweet, please make it useful, and that it may be helpful." For everything you are to depend upon the God power. Even when you touch a flower, then you have to ask Him that there may not be a snake hiding under it. "Please protect me from it." Some people smell and they find a cold, bad cold out of these smells. From all good things we find troubles. From friends we find troubles. In the Bible you would have read that your own family members might be your enemies. Our own self is generally harmful. (That) which we feel is useful, is nice, (and) on which we depend, that betrays us. That betrays us. As from the life of Christ, he had made us understand that it was Judas, who was his nearest and most dependable disciple, most dependable, and one of those ten disciples who were just in the forefront with him, but it was he who betrayed him. It was he! So there is nothing which is not betraying. Everything, anything can betray us: our brother can betray us, our sister can betray us, our father can betray us, mother can betray us, husband can betray, wife can betray, children can betray, our own intellect or mind can betray us. This was the understanding which was given to us from his own life. Lord Christ did say that, "One can also betray me. How can you save yourself?" If Lord Christ could also be betrayed, then can't we be betrayed by our most faithful one, most loving one whom we believe? There is nothing which is to be believed in this world. There is only one who is believable, on whom we can lay all our hopes, in whose lap we can relax, and on whose help we can depend. This is the source of life which has been given to you. Always seek its help, always seek its company, and then feel yourself living, free of any danger, of any worry, or any problem. Okay? So enjoy it. This is the gift which I have given you on my birthday [Master laughs]: God, not some things of the world. The Master always gives some gift which is really a gift, which the world cannot give you, but he can, he can give you. But don't throw it away. Don't throw it away. People generally throw it away. They do not feel (like) accepting it. They will always then go to the mind and will embrace it. "Whatever you will give me, I will take. Mind, you are my best friend! I had only listened to the satsang, but I will do whatever you will say. What you will give me, that I will do." [Master laughs] The mind is really a very, very sweet... terrible friend. That is our habit. What mind gives us, we at once accept that, but what the Master gives us - his gifts, holy gifts - it is very much reluctant to receive. But let us ask him: "Please fix in us what you want to give. Fix (it) in us!" It is really his power to fix it and you will not be able to remove it. It will be so deeply embedded in you that it will not be in your control to do anything to it. So, that will be yours. Ask him and you will find everything, every help. You will be complete. This will be your meditation. Even if you do not concentrate your mind, you do not meditate (and) only do this, that will be your real meditation. What is meditation? It is just to attend to him and to believe in him. But when you are attending to him, believing him, and asking him, it means you believe in him, believe in his existence, believe in his competencies, and believe in his relationship, friendly, loving relationship which you have with him. That is meditation! So, that is the purpose of meditation. Always keep him with you and you may not then attend to the sound or to the light even. [Master chuckles] That will be sufficient. But as long as the mind is strong, it will not let you believe in this. You will have to concentrate on light and sound so that this negative understanding is washed away and the right understanding is fixed in you. In the presence of the Master, this is very much done with his own efforts, with his own force. What you cannot do in 100 years (of) meditation, he will do in one satsang. He will wash it out and will give you that understanding and your mind will be accepting it. Mind will be weak and it will have to accept it. Otherwise the meditations or any kind of disciplines will fall flat (and be) of no use without the help of the Master. If the ground is just a hard ground and you throw the seed on it, how can it grow? Only the work of the farmer is there that the ground is made receptive. Then the seed is accepted by the land, and then it grows. So, all this right understanding is only possible when the Master first works on the mind. He makes the mind soft and frees it of all the rubbish, stones, thorns, and bushes and makes it receptive to the holy seed. Then it begins to work and then he goes on watering it, protecting it, (and) saving it. Then only can that holy plant flourish. Only with the cares of the gardener can the fruit trees germinate and flourish. Then after 8 years or 10 years it is strong enough in itself that it can grow more and also be laden with the sweet fruit. So the help of the Master is really needed because you cannot find even an understanding (without it), not to talk of only help. You will never find these things in books. People might have been reading the Bible but you cannot bring this understanding from it. Even if you are reading the Bible, you will not be finding anything out of it. But when the same thing will be told to you by the Master, then it will hit your heart. An arrow lying on the ground is only a piece of iron, but when it is fitted in a bow and then it is released, then it goes through two, three bodies, piercing through it. So the words of the Master are not words. All that is having great bullet-like powers in it that it goes through the hearts and kills the mind's negativities. All understandings are killed, and a new seed is sown and that is flourishing. So, feel like that. Talk less, see less this way. Don't see this way and that way. Don't hear shoutings from outside and don't talk so much! Only talk to your friend. Only try to hear from your friend, only try to see your friend, and only try to feel his presence. Don't feel the presence of (what is) this way and that way, who is there on (your) right or left. Be with him and enjoy his company. Squeeze from outside, squeeze, squeeze more and more, more and more and then concentrate in your own friend. Then you will envelop, accommodate everything; then everything will be yours. Connecting yourself with the world, disconnecting from God, then you are connecting yourself with thorns, thistles, scorpions, and snakes. If you protect yourself from all sides and squeeze yourself, it means you have squeezed yourself from every thorn, thistle, and troublesome thing. Then connect yourself with Him. Then you have connected yourself (with) all the world, all the existence of Lord God filled with His blessings, filled with His mercy and grace. All His powers and positions, all enjoyments - everything - will be filled in us. So, this is the way of life. Try it and ask for it, pray for it from Him. Then you will get it, then you will enjoy it. Okay? Alright, try to enjoy. I am feeling hungry; you might also be feeling hungry. We may ask our friend, "Please give us some food." [Master laughs] Then he will make you think of the kitchen over there. [Laughter] So, let me see all faces smiling. There should be no sorrow on any face. Every face should be glittering, shining like the sun, fragrant like the flowers, smooth, tender like the water of the lake. Outside things are outside, but these are also inside. These are also inside. We can bloom like the blooming flowers. We can bloom. He who makes the flowers bloom can also make us bloom. He who makes the sun shine with all its shininess can make us also shine like a sun, and He can also make us sweet like the moon - sweet moon without heat (and) all loving. He has filled all this that is in nature - the sweetness in the fruit, the grapes and so many other things - so He can (make us sweet). When we enjoy from outside, why shouldn't we enjoy our own fruit from our own self? "I am the vine and you are my branches. As long as you are embedded in me you will bring forth ample fruit." You will bring forth ample fruit. You are not to depend upon outer fruit. You will be yourself laden, full of fruit so that so many will be able to enjoy your sweetness and your fruit, (and) may be filled up with that. This is the life - not this (life) which we are now trying to live. This is very, very deplorable. We can never enjoy it. We are to learn to enjoy it. So, ask and everything will be given unto you. Ask from here [third eye center] and also try to go along. Try to remain single. If you are two, then talk of your friend, of him, and never forget him. So, don't let anybody interfere in you and your friend. Develop this understanding and this will be your real understanding. Then you will find your friend everywhere immanent in everything - in everything living or which is not living, which is inert. Nothing will be inert, but everything will be filled with the life of your friend. It will be jumping towards you, giving you a smile, giving you happiness. Everywhere you will find him as your protector, as your sympathizer, as your guide. There will be nothing (in which) he will not be immanent, prominent anywhere. So, that will help you, guide you, and make you happy with his own blessings, with his own gifts. Don't depend upon your mind, don't depend upon your intellect, and don't depend upon anything of the world. Even kingdoms may be discarded. If you depend upon your own armies, weapons, and so many arrangements, they fail, but God's help is unfailing. That is inside help. Luckily we have not got armies, we have not got weapons, we have not got kingdoms, but luckily we have God with us and that is more than sufficient for us. So, feel him, depend upon him, and only talk to him. Sometimes you may talk to others even [Master chuckles] as children of the same Father. So, what I have told (you), this you may ask. Sit in meditation. In meditation you should not meditate, but ask him: "This understanding must be given to me. Please be my friend. Don't forget me and don't make me forget. Please make me remember you. Please make me conscious of you. Please detach me from everything, but don't let me be detached from you. I may be feeling myself with you, that you may be my permanent, conscious companion, that I may believe in you and I may enjoy you. And if I do not, then I will die, then I will be suffering, then I will be in a terrible condition. Please do me the favour that I may remember you, that you may be mine and I may know it, I may feel that you are with me. I am yours and you are mine. This relationship should be there with me consciously so that I may live with you and I may be able to live. Otherwise I will die, otherwise I will not be able to live, and every tragedy will be upon me. Please favour me that you are my helper, you are my guide at all times and that I may find life in you. Otherwise I cannot live!" These are really the prayers which should be coming out of our hearts. I will try to help you in these prayers that you may be able to do these prayers; otherwise you will not be able to pray also. Mind will be so strong (and) will start its own prayers in the meditation that, "There is a banana lying over there." [Laughter] Sometimes people put some eatables around me. Then when I come over there, I find (them) and then take a little over there. When I again come back, again I find something (and) again I take it. It creates the habit of taking things at all times when we place these things because mind is so strong. Even if you are meditating and you feel like sleeping, you will feel that, "First I should take what is lying by my side and then I should sleep." [Master laughs] So, mental desires, mental prayers are always there very strongly working upon us. These should not be strong, but our own prayer - which I have just told you - for God, for enjoying His gifts, His manna of life, bread of life, water of life (should be there) that we may feel (like) enjoying it at all times. Before going to bed, we may enjoy it. We may fill ourselves with its sweetness so that our whole night may be sweet in His lap, in Him, and we may enjoy it. Okay? Alright. 1
