Sandance Shelties are not kennel dogs.  There are no kennels on my property, nor will there ever be.  Our Shelties are total house dogs and important members of our family.

Because of this, we maintain a very small number of dogs and do very little breeding.  When a breeding is done, it is very carefully planned.  Our pedigrees are meticulously orchestrated as we firmly believe the ancestors in  them are our building blocks.  You can not build a house (breeding program) without a firm foundation.  and only after all genetic testing is completed. 

Even with keeping a very limited number of dogs, we have maintained a successful breeding program that has withstood the test of time.   continuing to provide us with mentally and physically sound dogs that have earned their Championship in both rings.

We are extremely proud of that fact and the quality we have maintained over 25 plus years.  We are  proud to say that Sandance Shelties can be found in many of the top showdogs' and producers' pedigrees in this country.

Unfortunately, time and space does not allow us to place all of our dogs that have enriched our lives over the years on this site, so we will share with you some of the younger ones.  Please feel free to contact us about any Sandance dog that is not featured on this site. Or just drop us a line to say "Hi".  We'd love to hear from you!!
