Gee Konrad set a precedent why don't you. I
just emailed Jeb my
occupation as an umemployable alcoholic and then you write all
that.
Since I left in 84. 1985 was spent in Auckland, St Mary's
College, 1986
- 1989 at Otago University with all the other ex Samco people
that ended
up at the bottom of the South Island. Some of the most enjoyable
years
were spent as a scarfie in Dunedin. After graduating 89, BA
Geography, I
went home to Apia in 90 and taught Geography at Samoa College,
along
with Okenaisa, Rarotonga, and another guy that used to go to
Canterbury,
short, whose name totally eludes me. It was a fun year, really
opened my
eyes up to the carryings on of teachers in Samoa. Waterhouse was
still
principal and Barlow was still there as were Jeb's parents. End
of 89 I
came back to NZ to get married to Talosaga (aka Terry) whom I had
met at
uni. We got married Jan 91, and went back to Dunedin where he was
finishing off his Theological Studies. I did a Tourism Course at
POlytech while there and our daughter Denyce was born in Dunedin
in Nov
92, Saga finished in Dec 92 and we came to Taihape (central
plateau)
North Island NZ, pop 3,000 in Jun 93 where Saga is the
Presbyterian
minister. EEEEEEE I can see you all people laughing thinking OH
MY GOSH,
Marie became a house at the back......hahaha. Anyways I have
worked as a
teacher here, a newspaper reporter/photographer, teacher aide and
at the
moment I am trying to get my Teachers Diploma so I can get paid a
decent
wage when I do teach. Our son Reuben was born in Taihape in Aug
96. Most
recent news is that we have accepted a call from a parish in
Wanganui
and will be moving there in Feb 2000, looking forward to having
McD's
and KFC less than an hours drive away. And that is my condensed
life.
Jeb you only need to print the relevant details on the webpage.
All you
others, do any of you go into Samoa Chat or the Manalounge? If
you do
give me a holler and Ill look out for you. Being the only Samoans
here
it is a necessary evil for me. Until I hear from you again.
Ka kite ano
