Moshi Moshi. Here it is! Because you all asked me so nicely I’m making a sequel to Interesting! I got such wonderful reviews and such that I just couldn’t leave the story like that. Though I had intended to leave the story done with Bulma being killed by the one she loved, I guess you all just couldn’t stand to have Bulma just die like that. NE who, here is the prologue of the sequel Painfully Interesting.

She was so cold in his arms as he held her tight. Limp in his hands, her blood ran onto his body leaving bloody blotches on his chest. His head was bowed in silent shame as he pulled her closer though he knew she would never become warm again. Rocking her slightly he whispered sorry over and over hoping that if she heard him apologize she would wake up. She didn’t wake up. The scene of him shooting her ran over and over in his mind like a broken record. He wanted to cry for her, he wanted his tears to splatter on her face and make her see that he too could show emotion, but they would not come out. Was his pride so high that he couldn’t even show emotion towards someone he cared about? His eyes became dark and fearful as he kneeled with the dead Bulma in his hands. Silence was so loud that he whimpered in agony, his tail winding itself against Bulma.

Iris stood back as she watched the scene move in slow motion. Tears fell from her purple eyes as her diamond softly glowed in sadness. She sniffed as she brought her hand to her face watching her marking swirl trying to see if she had the power to heal Bulma. Her heart leaped as she discovered she didn’t hold the power to heal her. Iris fell to her knees and buried her lilac eyes in her hands as she cried. *It was my fault. If I could have just held that shield or pulled her out of the way she would still be alive.* She peeped through her hands to see Vegeta in a daze as he held Bulma close mesmerized by her blood mixing with his skin. Iris finally opened her mouth with a shaky voice, “This is your fauwt.”

Vegeta didn’t even turn around to face the child. He could hear her sniffing back her own tears and they made him only want to cry. Bowing his head lower he continued to apologize to Bulma as he held her closer. Iris stared at the back of his head, “Why can’t you just go to earth and wish her back!”

Vegeta began to wince as a horrid feeling washed over his body. He just couldn’t imagine going anywhere without Bulma. Shivers ran down his spine as he wished he could join her in death. His mind wandered back to the two weeks he spent with her. The first night how he had sex with her but the other nights, they lay quietly on their sides of the bed. But Bulma never knew that late at night Vegeta would move closer to her and put his arms around her and hold her close to his body. He could only fall asleep those past two weeks with her in his arms, with her absence, he could not function. Yet early in the morning he would release her from his hold and get up and begin to train in order for her not realize that he felt comfort with her in his arms. And now she was gone. He could no longer wrap his arm around her waist and pull her closer to his body in the darkness of space. He could no longer rub his tail against her silky thigh or bury his head in enticing blue hair. Bulma’s body was soaked in blood as he tried to ignore the feeling of Iris staring at him. Too many memories flooded his mind at once that he wanted to scream in agony.

“Go to earth!” Iris screamed as she sobbed back into her hands.

Vegeta opened his mouth in a noiseless gasp but closed it and shook his head in a slow motioned no. He stood up and picked Bulma up watching her head sickly rock to the side instead of her curling herself against him as she had months ago. He looked down at her and then towards Iris. Iris glared at him then softened her look as her eyes laid on Bulma. Vegeta turned around and walked out of the room towards the medical lab. His footsteps lagged as he made his way slowly to medical lab and his face was distraught with too many haunting visions. He could not rip his eyes off of his beloved and his eyes were held emotionless, his face kept in its constant scowl. The walls seemed to close on him as his breathing became ragged. His eyes darted from side to side as if trying to catch an invisible enemy. Bulma’s hair was lifeless and hung from her head and face like spider webs abandoned by their makers. It was no longer enticing but matted in blood from where Vegeta ran his blood soaked hands through her hair. Vegeta couldn’t see straight as he ran into walls, but he did not cuss, his throat was dry. It was as if he was thirsty but did not want water. He tried to pick up his pace but the medical lab seemed farther then he imagined. No soldiers roamed the halls for it was late and they had decided it was time to retire for sleep.

The medical lab was in site as Vegeta neared it in his slow sulking manner. With the door sliding open he glanced around to see where the freezers were. Walking ever so softly he opened one of the chambers and a type of glass coffin came out. Vegeta glanced at it then to his mate and opened the box. Placing her gently in its depths he shut the coffin and stared at her through the glass. She still had the appearance of death but her faint beauty still caught his eye. He placed his hand on top of the coffin and stared down at her, she looked as though she was sleeping and was soon to get up, but he knew it was far too good to come true. He turned his head away from her trying to take in deep breaths and calm his system. He turned back running his fingers over the glass outlining her body. Standing up he reached over and pressed a button that sent the coffin into the crevasse in the wall. Vegeta stood tall as she disappeared into the freezing abyss. She was now chronologically frozen and would not begin to decompose for some time. He stood looking at his hands, the same hands that had slayed his beauty. He pulled them away from his eyes and tightened them at his waist shivering in the cold. How he wished he could join her in heaven and see how beautiful she would look with angelic wings and a golden halo, but he knew it couldn’t happen. She was an angel and he was a… Iris was right, he was a monster. He gritted his teeth in disgust and slammed his eyelids shut. Opening them his vision was blurry; his mind ran with questions wondering if he was being blinded for killing Bulma. But his vision cleared up as a tear ran down his face. He didn’t even wipe it off as it trailed from his eye, to his cheek, to his chin, and dropped to the floor with a soft tinkle. His mouth opened in wonder as he stood in awe. He cried.

Iris still stood in her place as she gradually replayed the nights events. Her jewel glowed hauntingly in the dreary room as her tattoo crawled along her hand. Her purple eyes burned with the tears shed; and unshed. She rubbed her hand over her eyes in an attempt to stop the fire, but it still clawed at her making her eyes tear up once more. Iris finally found the strength to move herself from her standing position to the large bed where Bulma had once slept intertwined with Vegeta. Iris shook her head in dejection. *How can he feel sad about something seemed not to care about? How come he hides his emotions and yet, he truly loves her…* Iris sat in wonderment as the tears dripped from her face. What would he do to her now. He did blame everything on her, was her life at stake as well? Iris trembled at the thought, even though she held the power to stop him from killing her. She wanted to go to earth and gather the dragon balls and wish back Bulma. Resting her head in her hands she tried to configure a plan to get to earth.

Vegeta made his way quickly towards the main deck, his face angry. He burst into the deck and glared around at the few soldiers who kept the ship flying in its general direction. If you looked close enough to his face you could see that his face was tear streaked and his eyes were bloodshot, but no soldier took especially close examination of his face. Vegeta went up to the soldier piloting the craft. Grabbing him by the collar Vegeta yelled into his face, “Change this ship’s direction towards earth!”

The soldier trembled as Vegeta threw him back in his seat, “But… sir… Freeza needs us back…”

Vegeta eyed the soldier with his death glare, “If you don’t change the course now I will change your course to hell!”

The soldier cowered, “But Prince Vegeta!”

Vegeta created a small ki beam and aimed it towards the soldiers head, “Do as I say, soldier,” he sneered.

The soldier’s fingers ran across the key board redirecting the course towards earth. Satisfied, Vegeta walked out of the room and headed towards his chamber.

Iris stood by the door as she saw Vegeta near the room. Her heart pounded in her ears as he quietly, but horrifyingly, approached her. Their eyes met and Iris quickly gazed into them, reading them for all it was worth, “Why are you taking this ship to earth? What are you pwanning to do?”

Vegeta stared at her with his empty black eyes, “I’m going to gather the dragon balls.”

Iris almost leapt for joy. *So he is going to wish Bulma back!* Iris stared back at him with her lilac eyes and traced the streaks the tears left. Her mouth opened in a hushed gasp, “So, you are going to wish Buwma back?” Iris asked her question doubtfully, something in his eyes said he was going to earth for another reason.

Vegeta shook his head impassively. “Then why are you gathering the dragon bawws?”

Vegeta felt as if he was going to die if he said it out loud. He felt like a traitor to his own heart as the words left his mouth. Iris gasped as he told her what he planned to wish for and shook her head in utter disgust. Vegeta just looked down dishonorably as Iris backed away from him. He had told her he was going to wish for immortality.
