SAGE Enid strives to provide its members with beneficial activities and emotional support, and whenever able, offer specific social services within a friendly and safe environment that affirms equality without regard to age, gender, race, religion, ethnicity, or social status. This is accomplished through educational, social and service programs and by facilitating access to other supportive networks and services.
SAGE Enid is committed to providing high quality, life enriching programs that value age, gender, racial, ethnic, religious, and economic diversity and is further committed to fostering greater understanding, support, and advocacy for the rights of GLBT seniors int he Enid area.
As a nonprofit organization, SAGE Enid is further resolved to educate the community at large about the needs of older gay men, lesbians, bisexuals and transgender persons, to embrace and promote their rights in the community at large and to foster awareness, respect, and acceptance of those individuals as they grow through the aging experience within the public, the social service, and medical communities.
