I am a 46 year-old (I think) software consultant working for ALLTEL Information Services and living in Little Rock, Arkansas, but I rarely can be found there as I work for a banking software consulting group that believes in travel all the time. I am originally from South Bend, Washington, but my "people" are all from the Smoky Mountains of North Carolina. I was in the Air Force for many years, mostly stationed overseas. The transition from the military to corporate America wasn't all that difficult. I have been with this firm for almost 12 years now.
I have two fabulous children and two fabulous godsons (you can find them on my links and the Howard monthly page) and enjoy travel and working with clients around the world. Drew, the oldest godson, is in Los Angeles working on his doctorate. Manda is in her senior year at Kansas University in Lawrence, Kansas where she is majoring in English. Dean is working for the Hays Daily News in their print room in his home town of Hays, Kansas, and CJ, my youngest godson, is at Bradley University in Peoria.
My hobbies are sculpting, drawing, sightseeing, writing, and reading. My favorite author is Lois McMaster Bujold.
I have made some great friends in fandom and still support cons and fan writers at every opportunity (in fact, it was their suggestion that I put my old Captain Uhura stories out on the web). I'm a big Buffy/Scully/Mulder/Angel/Ally/Voyager fan currently.
