Science Lab Facts
Last Updated October 2002.
Using the Science set is a great way to improve your logic skill. But do you know which potions are good and which ones to avoid? Here we will try to give you a guide to which potions do what.
The Potions:
  • Blue: This Potion increases some motive scores to their maximum. Be careful there is a chance the Police will come to your door and fine you §500 for drinking this potion.
  • Red: This will make your Sim fall in love with another person from the Neighbourhood, that person will materialise and kiss your Sim on the spot.
  • Yellow: This will Reverse your Sim's personality. An outgoing Sim will now be shy and a neat Sim will now be messy. Be careful with this one. These sort of changes could have disastrous consequences.
  • Orange: Your Sim will be invisible to other Sims for about 6 hours. This means that other Sims can't interact with you but you can interact with them.
  • Green: Drinking this will created an evil clone of you Sim who will go around and annoy everyone else. The clone will be around for about 6 hours but it will take you a lot longer to repair those relationship scores.
  • Purple: This will make your Sim turn into a monster for a few hours. In that time your Sim will break everything in your house from the TV to the toilet. My bill from this experience was about §500 in repair costs.
  • Light Green: This does the opposite of the Blue Potion. Instead it reduces all your sims motive scores.
Drinking Potions can give you a great advantage, or it can give a lot of trouble, be careful.
