Choosing
the right career is one of the most important aspects of the game. There are
ten career tracks in the original Sims, plus another ten in the Livin' Large
& Unleashed expansion packs.
Each
career track has ten positions and there is a 1 in 20 chance that you will
be forced out of the top job once you get it. Choosing the wrong career may
mean your working long hours for little pay or setting your self too much
work to reach the top of your career.
To maintain financial security I recommend that you don't aim for the level ten job, instead stay at level nine.
