This Dodge Dakota Convertible was manufactured in May of 1991. It was used as an Officials Car at the 75th Indianapolis 500. In July, it was sent to American Sunroof Corporation for conversion to a convertible. The truck was used as a Chrysler pep vehicle and was sold to the public on 4/21/92. I purchased the truck in June, 2000, and am the third owner. The truck has "75th Indianapolis 500 (May 26, 1991)" stickers on the hood, rear quarter panels, and tailgate. It has a 5.2 Liter V8 EFI emblems on the front fenders. The truck is equipped with a 5.2 Liter (318 c.i.) V8, auto transmission, am/fm cassette, 15" aluminum wheels, tow package, power convenience group and a trailer tow package. -- Dennis Lamers |
