First of all, I must say that I am not Jewish. I have no Jewish relatives that I know of. Please understand that I am not trying to stir up strife. I am not anti-Arab. Many bad things have occured to the Jewish people over the years. Everyone knows what the Nazis did to them in World War 2. Many people do not realize that the Nazi atrocities are merely the tip of the iceberg. Many times the number of Jews murdered by the Nazis have been killed in other countries including the "former" Soviet Union (USSR) and others. The sad and deplorable fact is, that MANY of these Jewish people who have been killed, have been murdered by people who CLAIMED to follow Jesus Christ and incredibaly thought that they were somehow doing a "good deed". That is ABSOLUTELY WRONG! First of all, it totally goes against what the Bible teaches that Jesus would have a Believer (Christian) to be doing. Even if for some reason we were to hate Jews, then Believers should still not murder them. In fact they should do good to them! What is more. Jesus Himself was Jewish! All the twelve apostles were Jewish, and most of the early believers were too. The apostle Paul says, in Romans, chapter 11, verse 1 that "I say then, God has not rejected His people, has He? May it never be! For I too am an Israelite, a descendant of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin. God has not rejected His people whom He foreknew." Paul was Jewish! All the apostes believed that Jesus was the promised Messiah and Saviour (see Isaiah Chapter 53 and Psalm 22) and that His death was (and is) a fullfilment of Old Testament (JEWISH) prophecy! God said in Genesis Chapter 3 that the Serpent (Satan) would "bruise him on the heel" but that He (The promised Messiah) would crush the serpent's head. The Messiah HAD to suffer, and someday He is coming back to finish what He has started! All the evidence fits Jesus being whom He claimed to be! Another reason (though perhaps a selfish one) is the simple fact that the promise given to Abraham is still valid today, "I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you." This should be enough of a motivating factor to all those who believe that the Bible is true. God said that if you curse His chosen people, that He will do likewise. So all those who claim to be "Christians" who persecute or in any way bring harm to the Jewish people, should examine themselves as to whether of not they are truly following Christ. To any Jewish person who would read this article, I would beg you to search the Scriptures and see if these things are TRUE. I believe that you will find that Jesus IS the promised Redeemer and Messiah. To anyone who has persecuted Jews in the past. You can stlill find forgivness if you believe that Jesus is Lord and ask His forgivness for your sins. The Bible says that if anyone comes to Him, He will not cast Him out. Put your faith in His FINISHED work on the cross and He will save you. There is NOTHING that you can do to earn your way. Only believe with all you heart. |
