Truetone was Western Auto's own brand. Intially they sold tubes under the Certified brand. But about the same time the flood of Japanese tubes began, the truetone name showed up on their tube line. Although the box states 'RCA Licensed', most tube were Japanese imports. Wring was usually blue. Rarely was a date or EIA code shown.
