![]() | The plain Crosley box is from the 1940's, the other from the 50's or 60's. For many years the company made consumer electronic products. They also manufactured industrial and military products, particularly during WWII. More recently the Crosley name was part of the Philips family of consumer electronics. A family that also included Magnavox, Sylvania, Philco and Norelco and was owned by North American Philips. The tubes usually had writing that matched the color of the original manufacturer of the tube. For instance, tubes made by RCA had white writing and displayed the 274 RCA RETMA code.
