These two boxes represent the Admiral style from the 50's through the early 70's. Admiral was an equipment manufacturer, not a tube manufacturer. Most seem to carry the GE (188) or Sylvania (312) EIA/RETMA manufacturer's code. Date coding was by the year-week method. We acquired these from a friend who was an Admiral Sales and Service Center and we often traded needed parts back and forth. In later years we were an Admiral Service Center, but by then they were mostly solid state.
