OK, here's the deal. This contest is a short one. It's to show a quick mind, great ideas, and the ability to write a story in a matter of days. I can be done. It has been done. So here's what you have to do. Write a fanfic, long or short it doesn't matter. What does matter is that your story must include ALL of the following elements:

2) Your story MUST include Daniel Colson (that's a given, this is a Mark Dobies fansite:))
3) Your story MUST include Mark Solomon in some capacity (be it romantically or not)
4) Your story MUST showcase AT LEAST TWO BUT NO MORE THAN FOUR of the following characters in addition to Daniel and Mark.

6) Your story MUST have a surprising revelation.
7) Your story MUST take place before Daniel's arrest.
8) Your story MUST be sent to me no later than 11:59pm EST on Friday, June 10. (I told you it was a test of wills)
9) And the fun part, in addition to 1st through 3rd place, which I will explain below, there will be an actual, tangible prize for a writer if he/she is lucky. I myself will be writing a story (which will not be judged, just to be fair). If your additional characters match the additional characters I have chosen, you win a prize. For example (and this is just an example, it may or may not be the actual characters I am using) Let's say I write a story with Mark and Daniel, and out of the list of additional characters, I choose Lindsay Rappaport and Paul Cramer. If, at the end of the contest, you have chosen those same characters, you win a prize that you will receive in the mail.
Here's how this will work. I will have a team reading the stories, the top three stories will be awarded 1st through 3rd place. There will also be awards given for best characterization, best angst, best drama, etc.
