Last one of the year!
Well, Funimation is holding a survey. They want to know about what kind of products they should see. Fill out this survey to voice your opinion. In other news, Funimation said that they are going to be doing more Dragon Ball Z stuff next year since it's the year of the Dragon. Here is what Funimation plans to release next year...
January- Frieza: Eleventh Hour (8) and Garlic Jr.: Black Water Mist (1)
February- Frieza: Fall of a Tyrant (9) and Garlic Jr.: Sacred Water (2)
March- Frieza: Namek's End (10) and Garlic Jr.: Vanquished (3)
This completes both the Frieza 10 volume set and the Garlic Jr. 3 volume set.
Also they plan to release more action figures, trading cards, hand-held games, clothes, and much, much more. A lot is in store for us next year. I hope you guys had a merry christmas and have a very happy new Year Millennium!

There was an article in the New York Post dedicated to DBZ and Toonami! Isn't that wierd! The article discussed DBZ's growing popularity in America, and also mentioned the new shows toonmai will be recieving. Gundam and Tenchi Muyo will be joining Toonami, and will be expanding to three hours instead of two hours next year. Which means that Toonami will be totally anime! Awesome! Also, the 4th dbz movie "Super Saiya-jin Son Goku" will be released around March, hopefully. Oh, yeah! I'm totally redoing my dbz section and I promise it will look so awesome when I'm done. I hope you'll like it. How can I forget...Funimation said that they will dub Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball GT when they are done will DBZ. Don't expect that for a while since there is about 200 episodes left to dub. I wish everyone of you a merry Christmas and a Happy New Year (and Millenium ^_^). Come back soon and see my new site! I don't know when that will be but I promise that it will be done by next year. Wait, one more thing! Our site is now officially one year old! I don't have a lot of time to work on it since I have to take my ACT soon. Grrr...wish me luck. Bye. Sorry for not updating in such a long time.

If you don't get the funimation newsletter then this is what they said:
Q- Will we produce Dragon Ball GT?
A- Dragon Ball is a series where each episode builds on the previous episode's storyline. We are currently in the process of producing and broadcasting the DBZ episodes. We have every intention of producing all of the episodes, including the rest of Dragon Ball. We have just produced and released new episodes for Cartoon Network which are currently airing. We hope to proceed to Dragon Ball GT next.
Q- Will there be a Season 4?
A- As you are aware, FUNimation is the production company. Cartoon Network decides which episodes to air and when. Regardless of Cartoon Network's plans, FUNimation is going to produce episodes for a 4th Season and will make them available on home video. We know that many of you want uncut DBZ. Although we must edit the series for TV (FCC guidelines), we will continue to release both Uncut and Edited versions on Home Video.
Q- Why aren't there any Video Games?
A- Unfortunately, the Bandai Dragon Ball video games are not available in the USA. Since FUNimation did not design these games, we cannot manufacture them and get them out to you guys. However, we are talking to several companies interested in producing games and will be providing additional information as soon as we can. Many of you have said that a game is being made for Sega's Dreamcast System. We are not aware of it. If you have any details, please let us know.
Q- Why did we change the voices?
A- Hey, we don't like changing the voices. But you have to realize that sometimes the voice actors can no longer record the voices for a variety of reasons. Many of the old voice actors have moved on to new commitments, and we have moved our recording facilities from Canada to Texas. Please be patient and give the new actors a chance, we think they'll grow on you.
Q- Why isn't the Website updated?
A- We are currently redesigning the site in Flash. Look for new stuff coming shortly.
Q- What are the latest DBZ Video Releases?
A- We just released three new videos which should be showing up any day now at your local retailers. These are:
Frieza - Clash
Frieza -Desparation
Frieza - Super Saiyan Goku.
These are available in both Uncut and Edited Versions. You can find them at our online store,
http://www.funimation.net/DBZStore.shtml
and at most video retailers.
Here is the most awesome picture you'll ever see!!!
Also, in the new Christina Aguilera video, on one of the walls there is a huge picture of DBGT Goku. :)
Sorry for not updating in a long time. I've been very very busy lately. I probably won't update for another several years.

Well, school is in and it really sucks. I'm waiting for summer vacation again even though it's the second day of school. Well, anyway here is the news. It seems that the new DBZ episodes won't be shown until Monday the 13th. I don't know quite why. There have been many conclusions why but I think it's because we are in the part of the series where they need to finish off the old episodes (which will take another week) to get to the last episodes on the 13th. What I mean is that today, episode 44 was shown today. There is 53 episodes of the old ones. On the 13th, they are going to show two old episodes and two new episodes. You do the math and you will see that it's just the right amount of episodes for the schedule. Well, that's just what I think. I may (and probably most definetly) be wrong. Well, what I don't understand is that first they said it would be on the 16th then they said the 15th, then the 6th and now the 13th. What's going on with them? Hmmph...

I know, I know, I'm sorry I don't update often. As said on the our front page we have been on vacation for three weeks in Chicago. Me and my sister stayed at my uncles house and they have Telemundo there. At 6am central time, DBZ cames unedited and in spanish. It's really cool. I recorded everyday and I have a tape that has 5 1/2 hours worth of DBZ of episodes from the episodes of the training and the fight with Nappa only. I didn't want to leave but I had too. :( Well, anyway, to the important news. While I was away I got the DBZ newsletter which you can get on the front page of www.dragonballz.com, and it's got some really good news. Origanally cartoon network was going to premire the new DBZ episodes on Sept. 15 but instead they just said that it will premire on Sept. 6th. Isn't that great news! Well, they also went on to say On Sept. 6th, the last two episodes of season 2 will be on from 4pm to 5pm and the two new episodes of season 3 will be on from 5pm to 6pm. That's eastern time. I also found a site that is only about season 3 of DBZ. It's got video clips and everything. The new voices are really bad, especially Krillins'. Well, see for yourself at Dragon Ball Z: The Third Season. Enjoy :) I don't want to go to school!!! I have schedule pickup next week then on August 31st school starts. I heard that 11th grade is your hardest year. Does anybody know if that's true? I HATE SCHOOL. Well, enough blabbing. Bye-bye.

I have a fourth DBZ image gallery but I haven't got the chance to put it up yet.4th dbz image page. I thought that since you took the time to come here and read why not give you this URL but there is one warning. There is an obsence picture in there, I don't mind it. It's a pic of Goten sticking his middle finger up. That's it. If you want me to take that off then tell. I don't want to offend anybody.

I'm sorry. I've known this news for a couple of days but never really got a chance to get to write it here. End of school projects and disections and crap like that to do. But anyway...in case you didn't know, in some areas DBZ is being shown on UPN. Here near Detroit in Michigan, DBZ is showing after Pokemon at 8am. For me that doesn't help me because I start school at 7am, but for you lucky people who don't start school until 9am you get to watch it with Pokemon. I also heard that it is also showing on UPN in the Tampa Bay Area along side with Pokemon and Sailor Moon. Three awsome animes in a row! No, it would be better if they wern't edited so much isn't it. But anyway...that's all the DBZ news that I can think of for now. Remember, if you know anything pleeeeeeease tell me. Nine more days of school left then I will be an upperclassman (I'll be a junior! Arn't you proud of me.) I'll also be 15 in one month and 14 days! ^_^

I have some really good news and some bad news. FUNimation is going to get rid of most of the "goofyness" in the dialouge! So, if you know how much goofy stuff funimation puts in, you will be just as happy as me. Second, the bad news. DONT SEND ANY OBSENCE OR THREATENING LETTERS!!When Sailor Moon was on USA, they recieved many nasty letters that they took the show off the air. Can you actually imagine taking DBZ of the air! No, please don't do this to me. :( If you want to express yourselves, please do it in a polite manner. Third, there is a chance for commerically sub-titled DB/Z in America. So, we have to flood pioneer with e-mails saying that we desperatly want it and that we would even pay for them! If you don't want to pay for it, just say it and they may even put it on Cartoon Network or something. We flooded FUNimation with e-mails saying that we wanted season three of DBZ. So let everybody know that we have to e-mail Pioneer saying that we desperatly need sub-titled DB/Z. E-mail them at Info@RightStuff.com. Now for some more great news, FUNimation is considering going back and sub-titling season three for tape! So, we need to support them too. Go to my e-mail page to find out all that you need. And, if you don't know already then the new episodes are out at Target, Best Buy, Circut City, Sam Goody, Media Play, Walmart, etc. Where ever they sell anime videos.

I'm sorry I haven't updated in a while. Ok, if you bought the new episodes and it just plainly stinks stereo wise or picture wise, it may be a defect with the tapes. Funimation had some defects when sending out tapes. The tapes that may include this defect are:
The Sleeping Princess
Captain Ginyu:Assault
Captain Ginyu: Double Cross
You can send your videos back to this address: FUNimation Warranty

Or you can go here to check out thier warrenty policy. Funimation's new DBZ site!
Oh, yeah, Funimation has a new DBZ site! It's so cool. It's filled with java, unedited pictures, episode guides, character info, postcards! and more. You have to go there. It's DragonBallZ.com
