[Marie Fredriksson] [Per Gessle]
Marie was born on May 27 1958 in a small village in the southern parts of Sweden. When she was four she moved with her family to a little town called Östra Ljungby in the southern part of Sweden. There Marie decided that she wanted to become a singer as an adult.
Before she started to sing in Roxette she had a promising solo career, which she has continued to work on when Roxette has had a break. As a solo artist she has given out six albums. They are "Het vind","Sjunde vågen", "Efter Stormen", "Den Ständiga Resan", "I en tid som vår", "Äntligen".
In 1994 she became a mother to Josephine, and in 1996 to Oscar. In 1995 she married Michael Bolyas.

Per was born on January 12 1959 in Halmstad, a town on the Swedish west coast. He realized early that he did not need to do his homework, it was enough to study hard the night before a test. When he was 13 he was accepted in Leeds United Supporters' Club, the fanbclub to an English soccer team.
He and a friend started the Swedish group Gyllene Tider 1977. Between 1978 and 1982, the group was very popular in Sweden and they had many hits. They were reunited in 1997 and did a summer tour in Sweden. Per has also recorded three solo albums, "Per Gessle", "Scanner", "The World According to Gessle".
In 1993 he married Åsa Nordin and in 1997 he became a dad to Gabrielle.
