Hi, my name is Rachel and this is my first web site.

I first started out in Cavies in December 1989, with a pet Guinea pig named Sparky,
he was a chocolate & cream Abysinnian.
Then the next to come along was a trio of pedigree Abysinnians in early 1990
and then there was a trio of Rex and so on. My numbers have now
grown to 180+ animals.
I have now added American Crested in Black, Gold, Chocolate and Lilac, P/E & D/E Goldens in both
Self, Crested and Satin as well as Black Dalmatians and a few Crested and Self Blacks. I am also dabbling with Satin Gold Agouti Dalmatians. The new additions to my stud are Satin Gold American Crested. I no longer have the abysinnians, something had to make way for the other breeds.

  I live on the  North Coast of NSW in a town called Lismore, if you don't know where that is, it is near Byron Bay. I am a member of the Northern Rivers Cavy Society Inc and Cavy Owners and Breeders Society in Brisbane QLD. I have been showing and breeding cavies for  17 years now.

  It is a very good hobby to get into, I enjoy it immensley, you get to meet all kinds of people.  I have made lots of friends and some of my best friends are in the cavy fancy.  You get to go along to shows all throughout  the year and you can also go along to some of the biggest shows in Australia, it's great fun!!
