Chili Sauce for HotDogs

1 pound lean ground beef (I use the 7% fat -93%lean ground beef)
1/2 tsp. worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. prepared mustard
1/4 tsp. dried oregano
1/2 cup water
1 onion- chopped
1 can (8oz.) tomato sauce
1 cup ketchup
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. onion powder
1 tsp. chili powder
Salt and pepper to taste

  Brown ground beef in a large saucepan over medium heat.(OR-if you want the meat to be real fine, bring a pan of water to a boil and add meat and stir to crumble, until meat  loses red color, Drain Well.)
Add the worcestershire sauce, mustard and oregano. Stir to combine. Add the remaining ingredents; stir .
Reduce heat and semmer for 15 minutes.
Coney Island Sauce for HotDogs

2 pounds very lean ground Beef
1 large onion, chopped
2-1/2 cups Ketchup
4 Tbls. ground Cumin ( or use 2 Tbls. Italian Seasoning-just as good)
3 tsp. prepared Mustard
1 tsp. Garlic Powder
1 tsp. Onion Powder
3 Tbls. Chili Powder ( or less)
Salt and Pepper to taste

Brown beef and onion together and drain off excess liquid. Stir in remaining ingredients. Bring mixture to a Boil. Reduce heat and simmer for about 30 minutes,
Tip: This sauce freezes very well.
